- Want to learn how to make a Five Nights at Freddy's Freddy Fazbear head before the movie premiere and Halloween? Well you've came to the right place! In this video, I show how I made my Freddy Fazbear head, but with materials that are affordable for most people! Let your dream become a reality!
I also constantly get asked this question: "how do you see through your masks?" I had to make a whole entire video on it, but I still get asked the question. Basically, the eyes you see in the video are what I call "show eyes". They have Velcro on the bottom so I can take them out and replace them with see through eyes. to make see through eyes, use mesh instead of white paint. I just use those eyes as display or show eyes to make the costume look more realistic. Hope this helps 😁
This is a collection of Parts 1 through 4 of how I made this FNAF Freddy Head! For a more detailed video, watch all the parts :)

This is insane watching this, you chose a talent that can impress millions of people but one of does people is me witch, I never had the balls to make one, it's still amazing watching this while I am siting on my sofa watching this and not doing anything just breaks my skill to make a costume heck I even make mistakes and I think that it is trash and still is not perfect....but hey, not everyone can make something.
Thank you so much 🙏🙏 Your support means a lot! And exactly, nothing can be perfect, but it's the effort and confidence you put into it that makes it rewarding
@@AyeJayDeeDIY my guy this tutorial was so helpful I had ordered foam already so this was so helpful

yeah like how i can make edited pngs to look like something from my nightmares/dreams they are basically the same
It’s crazy how a piece of foam can turn into a piece of art
bro that is amazing, i could not do that in a million years
Thank you! And I believe you can!!
Honestly really good!, I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on Bonnie’s head by any chance (if you want ofc your choice)
Thanks! My next diy will be on Springtrap which has almost the same process, with an exception on the eyes, muzzle, and teeth. So I'll add a section in there that shows how to make those if someone decides to make Bonnie 😁
This is so good...... cant wait to make one for my nephew now 😊

Oh shoot I forgot to add a warning for that 🫢

Springtrap and Foxy mask is done time for Freddy (your video's have been a great help)
Glad I can help 😁
Perfect 😙🤌
Thank you 🙏🙏
Far from perfect
@@Taxidermied_RattI appreciate your criticism. But fortunately, I wasn't making it to be perfect. My goal with this project was to make it on a budget, with materials that are available to anyone. There are a lot of people out there who want to make these costumes, but don't want to spend loads of money to make them. That's why I made this video, to show it can be done with being on a budget

Thank you! I explained it somewhere in the video so you might have to rewatch it haha. You can also check out my Foxy or Springtrap head tutorial. I may have explained it better there 😁👍
What foam did you use for this? It’s amazing and I want to make it myself!
I used Fairfield 1 inch thick project foam. You can find it at places like Walmart and Joann's. I prefer Joann's because they usually have discounts 😁
@@AyeJayDeeDIYAwesome, tysm!
Dude Thats So Freaking Good, Nice Job
Thank you!
Can you maybe redo these with your voice please to make it easier to follow?
Its insane! But how do you see with the mask ?
Make sure to read the description 😁
im trying to make one off of your example and im kinda confused on how to make the hinges for the jaw? ik it says you used cardboard and brads but how and what shape exactly do you make it? thanks ! :)
also amazing job!
I'd recommend watching my Springtrap or Foxy head tutorial to see how I made it better
Hello again, i have a question, how many foam cases did you use? also are you able to paint foam?
I only used one thing of foam, (which can be found in the description 😁). I wouldn't recommend painting the foam because of all the holes and how it absorbs the paint. It's best to go with fabric 😁
@@AyeJayDeeDIY how much is even in the foam thing because it looks like a lot and i also meant for the whole head if you thought i meant something else
Yeah, the one roll of foam I bought is 1 inch thick by 24 inches tall and 72 inches long. After getting head measurements, and double layering, if needed, there should still be foam left over 👍
@@AyeJayDeeDIY oh shoot, well i bought 2 already. Hey i guess i could use the other for if i wanna make another fnaf mask. also when you bought the foam, how much later days did it come?
That's all good! You can most definitely make another head! And I bought it at the store not online 😁
yo how many did foam u used for the freddy mask and is that ok if i used 1x24x72 foam?
I just used one
This is awesome! May i ask what foam it is? Or where you can get it? :D
Thank you! The foam is just called 1 inch project foam by Fairfield, and you can get it at places like Walmart, Michaels, or Joann's. Walmart offers the cheapest prices for them so it's best to get it there. Depending on where you live though, it may be sold by different carriers
@@AyeJayDeeDIY ooooh alright! Definitely gonna head to those places soon to look 😎 thanks!
@@Sparrowww83 awesome! Sounds good!
Could you tell me what specific fabric you used for the mask friend, it looked great on you and I want to replicate it.🎉🎉
Honestly, I don't know the specific color fabric. I always go to thrift stores and small businesses to find cheaper options
I know what I'm gonna do for halloween.
Awesome! I hope it helps!
I have another question sorry 😅How much fabric did you use for the whole head?
I think about 1.5 yards
Pog
😁
Quick question! Do you know how to make led eyes that you can see out of for a cosplay?
I am not sure, but I could probably figure it out 😁
Could a Funtime Freddy head be achievable with this type of base? And do you have any tips for people trying to try this out?
You could definitely use this method for a Funtime Freddy head! There might be some differences when it comes to the face panels he has, if you want them to open, of course. And some tips I would give to a beginner are, go into your project confident and with a game plan. It's okay to make mistakes. If you notice your mistakes, that just gives you an opportunity to improve. The Bonnie head I made was actually the first head I had ever made. It is important to be patient, and the outcome is rewarding. You got this 🙏😁
When is full suit coming
Not sure yet
you really isnpired me to make my own fnaf cosplay :D just one question, how do you see through the eyes? idk just dont get it:(
Check the description 😉
It looks so amazing! How do you see out of them? Also i thought project foam was very squishy but when you had the fabric on it looked kinda stiff, how?
Thanks! Well the foam is squishy when you apply pressure to it, but it isn't flimsy. That's why it looks like that. And check out this video to see how to see: ua-cam.com/video/j-DAZZ-93aA/v-deo.htmlsi=nF6pcJszNwZrXAgh

Got to 4:05 in the video, I showed how I put it together 😁 I used cardboard for it, but I recommend using plastic mesh
Okay, Thank you! 😁
This is amazing, don't get me wrong! this man is a masterpiece, but, aren't the inner ears supposed to be a darker shade of brown? but overall very good!!! god bless this man.
Thank you 🙏 Nothing is perfect, but good attention to detail! I hadn't noticed that. That'll get you far when creating your own 😁
Its ok! we learn from mistakes!@@AyeJayDeeDIYalso! i see you used cardboard with the hinges. cardboard can absorb sweat, and eventually turn moldy, yucky. is there any other material?
Yep, I know cardboard can do that haha. The way I used it though is getting two cardboard squares/rectangles and hot gluing them onto a popsicle stick. I then wrapped it in a few layers of duct tape to protect it. Don't worry, I know what I'm doing haha. And you could also use plastic canvas mesh, which is what I used for my Springtrap and Foxy heads
Need a little help with it the instructions are a bit unclear and I don't know what size the cheeks are but you videos are great 👍
The size of the cheeks for mine probably won't be the same for yours. I have my mask set to my head shape, so you'll have to eyeball it and go through trial and error 😁
What type of fabric do you use?
It's called Anti-Pill Fleece
About how much project foam did you need to build this?
I just used one roll
by any chance do you know how to make circus babys head? i’m having a hard time with the main base
Oooo that's definitely one I plan to make in the future! I've been trying to find different materials to use for the plasticy material she and a lot of other animatronics are made from 😁

@@AyeJayDeeDIYok Ty :D
So I’ve watched a few videos but I’m not sure how you can see through the eyes you have made without using mesh?
I believe I mentioned it in the video, but I can't remember. I added Velcro to the bottom of the eyes so they are removable. The ones that are in there are the presentation eyes, and I'll switch them out 😁
@@AyeJayDeeDIY Ahhh ok, that’s what I did with my first mask

Up to you 👍
How to make the triangles right after fitting the foam around head?
Measure how long the foam sheet is. Divide that number by a high number like 7-10. Say the foam sheet is 32 inches long, divide it by 8 so you get 4. 8 is the number of triangles, and 4 is how many inches the bottom of the triangle is. I usually make the height about 3.5 inches tall. Mark a line at the midway point of the 4 inch base on the triangle (2 inches) and draw a line straight up 3.5 inches. Then just use a straight edge/ruler to connect it from the top middle to the bottom sides. Hope this helps 😁

Will this work with 1/2 inch foam?
It's possible, I'm not sure I've never tried it. I use 1 inch thick because it's more durable and firm
Okay thank you!
İs there any alternatives for the project foam?
I'm not sure, but there probably is. I've had some people use EVA foam. Project Foam is pretty inexpensive though

Uhhh where’d you get the eye balls from
Make sure to watch the video 👍
Thx you cuz I keep on getting confused with the eye ball part
Do you know how you could fit your head when you put your head in the mask because isn't the thing where you put your jaw going to block your head from coming inside the mask
Nope! There's nothing blocking the head hole.
@@AyeJayDeeDIY I'm saying like when you put your head in the mask, isn't the spot where you lay your chin and rest it to move the jaw blocking your head from entering
I understood what you were saying lol. There's nothing blocking the head hole/nothing blocking my head from coming through. I didn't make the jaw extend all the way to the back of the head, just to where the hinges would be on the sides. It helps to make a cut out a "U" shape on the jaw if you have trouble putting it on
when you put your head on the mask isn't your jaw not supposed to fit in because the job piece is blocking it from entering.
Like I said in the other replies, the jaw is not blocking the head hole. The jaw is not extended all the way to the back of the head. There is just enough space between the end of the jaw and the back of the head to put your head through
so how do i see inside it?
Watch this video, I explain it there 😁 ua-cam.com/video/j-DAZZ-93aA/v-deo.html
So can you see in the head or no?
Did you read the description?

Will these be good for the head? Ps I only have 20 bucks rn so I have to mow a few yards for extra cash lol.
I have the pins and ornaments already but I don’t have ink for my printer so I will draw the eyes!
That's basically everything I used, yep! Make sure to look for discounts and go to thrift stores to find some of those materials! I hope it turns out well for you! I'd love to see it all finished!

On average what size of the rectangle by length and height of the first sheet of foam? And what is the size of each triangle by length and height for the top of the head based on the average size from the rectangle? Also how many layers of foam do you recommend in total (including the first one you measured)?
Good questions! So I don't measure the first or second layer of foam. What I do is wrap the first layer around my head and mark where it feels not too tight and not too loose. I then draw a line about half way, so the 12 inch mark, then draw lines on each side of that line about 4 inches down. I then calculate the length of the foam sheet (size varies on your head size) and divide it by a number between 7 and 10. I choose one of the numbers from 7 and 10 that are close to a measurement that is easiest to measure with a tape measure. For example, if the length of my foam is 32 inches, I would divide it by 8 to get 8 triangles, each with a width of 4 inches. Then you'd draw 8 triangles, each with a width of 4 inches onto the foam, extending about 4 or so inches high. That's when you hot glue and cut as needed. Usually you'll get a second base which you could use for another head, but NOT as the second layer, as it's too small. You would then, after making the base, get the rest of the foam roll you have, and hot glue and roll it over it, cut when you reach the beginning, and hot glue it on. And of course cut the top half off like you did the base. I recommend 2 layers of foam, but of course you'll need to add some on for the cheeks and muzzle 😁 Hopefully that helps 😁🙏
@@AyeJayDeeDIYok but one more question, do you recommend gluing or sewing fabric to the jaw? Cause in part 4 four of your Freddy tutorial, you said you were gluing because you wanted to get the video out quicker.
@@Fazbear_Entertainment_1983 I always glue it on to the jaw rather than sew it because of the jaw shape and design. Wrinkles, folds, and slits can be hidden better on the jaw than the head 😁
How many rolls of foam did you need
1 per mask is what I used 😁
NO
how old r u i think ur still on school right?
You can bring it with you to school :D
I'm in college
How do you make the jaw move
Make sure to watch the whole video 😁 I showed myself making the jaw and the mechanism in the video
How much does all of it cost
And how much cases of project foam do you need
I believe I spent about $35 on materials. But just because that's how much it cost me doesn't necessarily mean that's how much you'll spend to make it. Material prices and availability vary. I also used stuff from around the house, used discounts, and went to thrift stores which definitely helped lower the cost
I just bought one roll
