We love our red star chickens! Their eggs are beautiful, and they are constant layers. They are good around kids, but they're not the cuddling type. They also started laying well before our other breed
I had them. Really happy with them
I have had chickens for most my life ( over 50 years easy ) . The red star sexlinks are my favorite breed . The do breed true for atleast generations . My biggest eggs were 2.5”x 4” . measured from the side not diameter .

My Red Stars are almost 8 weeks old and have bigger combs than the other types. They also stand tall which is what I was told roosters do. I really hope that I don’t have 2 roosters especially because one of the others is supposed to be a too.

I can not complian about the red stars good production of consistent eggs,but the hens are not long lived & you need to purchase them from the hatcheries.

Is red star chicken produce egg without rooster??
Hi, I just wanted to let you know chickens can produce eggs without a rooster... however, without a rooster, the eggs will not be fertilized and will never become chickens
Ive been successfully incubating and hatching red stars for the past year, will never purchase a different breed.

Animals are not a commodity. Chickens, pigs and cows are no different than dogs and cats. They are sentient beings who feel love, pain, sadness, despair just like any tortured dog or cat. This is the social injustice of the day. Because now we know animal protein is the reason cancer and heart disease are an epidemic in the United States. It's unessecary AND it causes chronic illnesses. Making it unethical and inhumane. And FYI, eating animals causes heart disease and the first sign of heart disease is erectile dysfunction. Karma for being a-holes.

I disagree with your comments. Humans have eaten meat for many years. The problem is the GMO feed and the chemicals that are used to harvest. The animals are vaccinated and that transfers to the food supply. Even the land they are raised on could be compromised. Parasites are also a cause for cancer.
The most sane vegan everyone....
