Apostle John was very close to Jesus Christ, he was one the three apostles whom Jesus shared special experiences with. I think the prayer was taught to the the disciples after they ask Him to teach them how to pray Matthew 6: 6-14. There was a moment when he was going to b crucified, he went to pray alone and left disciples alone, come back found them sleeping and he remind them to pray as they has few time with him. Its very suprising that we need to be answering questions which should be asked from the faith owner, God! As far as the writing of the bible is concerned, I believe trusted souls are chosen by God to print these scriptures. Bear in mind that we have prophets and seers. We can get visions, dreams, and premonitions. If more than two people can receive the identical word of God from the Holy Spirit, how can we question such accurate integrity?

Apostle John was very close to Jesus Christ, he was one the three apostles whom Jesus shared special experiences with.
