``In some far off place many light years in space I’ll wait for you. Where human feet have never trod, where human eyes have never seen, I'll build a world of abstract dreams and wait for you.`` ― Sun Ra
This song moves me spiritually, on a level that people can only experience by feeling the need to exist beyond life on earth. The first time i heard it was so much of an out of body experience that it is now imprinted on my soul like an eternal tattoo.
This is my favorite Sun RA song because it basically captures all of the things great about Sun Ra. It has a cool jazz section with an awesome bass line, vocals, psychedelic keyboards, a noisy free jazz section and a quiet break in the middle to make you think about space. Whats not to like?
In some far off place Many light years in space Sun Ra waits for us in a world he's built of abstract dreams beautified by his paintings of infinity that reveal the immeasurable equation.

Life on Earth, is far preferable to me, at least. Great sounds, man.

Have you ever heard "Pictures of Infinity" the album? Some of his best.
Sun-ra was before his time or he was a musical freak of nature. He had so many different attributes in his music.
Who said it again that people are never before their time, it's the others who are late.
He and these words clearly transcend space and time
Cool music.
Rules? Fuck rules is what I hear. I agree....
Wow. Incredible.
There is no larger discography than Sun Ra's. Funkadelic/Bootsy Collins
