Congratulations on creating a delightful viewing experience my friend. I have been drawn to the style of the 1930’s and 40’s for a long time, but having found your channel recently, I am beginning to understand the design language of this period. Your aim with this channel, as you describe in your channel description, is to educate and entertain by bringing forth with your own style, the thinking and creativity of the period. You are certainly achieving that from my viewpoint. I watch Jay Leon’s garage especially for this period of automotive history. The period seems to be defined by the fascination with flight and airplane technology, which became a style of its own (Streamline Moderne). I’ve always loved Art Deco, but didn’t realise until watching your videos, that the “Art Deco on steroids” was my calling to discover and explore the era more fully. I restore furniture of this period to live this design aesthetic for myself. I am well and truly hooked! For me, the 30’ & 40’s were the height of automotive style and design
Hi, I did watch your vid real time. Not exactly sure how I feel about these car designs. There are a few models that were just scary and impractical even by today's standards. I know worth a ton of American and Canadian $$$ now if a person can find one. Thanks for sharing. Kudos to the car engineers and designers back then. Nice vid. TY👍
Wonderful collection of automobiles when they were considered art, there really isnt anything out there current today that has the allure of what was......
Only Citroen kept this level of flowing art alive longer than all other manufacturers.
涙が出るほどステキです。素晴らしいデザインを見ると心が癒やされます。
Me to, the elegant designs are beautiful. It's like rolling art.
Beautiful cars. Wish more auto makers cared this much nowadays
I know for a fact that Batman drove some of these cars. Why don't they design like that any more. Absolutly beautiful. Thanks very much.
First batman drove a 39 Cadillac in 1943.
Then in 49, he drove a 49 mercury
Cost,weight,fuel economy.

A great read from you. Thanks for the positive feedback. Yes, Streamline Moderne is ArtDeco on steroids. More to come!
