    when i see such news, one thing i understand with certainty is that Indian Democracy might be flawed, but it's better upheld that literally any other democracy in the world. I am unsure as to how a detailed and factual analysis of that would come about, but it still feels like our governments starting with the very first one have tried time and again to put in place restrictions and rules and regulations that enable this system to function un-corrupted. But since a lot of that is dependent on the people in those chairs and offices, we do see aggravations and cases. But it still makes me feel optimistic, that, if more people with their 'hearts in the right place' like Shekhar Ji says occupy those positions gradually our system will become more and more bulletproof and more resistant to internal decay.
    Pakistan's govt is probably going through a face to face with that decay they set in motion all those decades ago. That is why everything is just crumbling down so fast around them. But i do hope they take corrective action. Because any economy, no matter how hostile they are to India, capsizing, is hardly a good thing.

    Speaking of India, I suspect that the customs appraiser doing the valuation of toshakhana gifts must be always under tremendous pressure from all the quarters for valuation of the gifts “suitably“.
    About Pakistan I suspect that these expensive items are not gifts, but are actually purchases made out of illegal money stashed abroad. It is a cheaper way of openly enjoying the ill gotten wealth by paying 20% of the price.

    I think this is exaggerated information, it is not the amount or gifts that presenter spoke about , may be relying on tertiary information is not good enough, it's a good idea to confirm først and source should be unbiased ad well . Much of the discussion on Imran is false or miscalculated.

    @Shekhar Sir - I am sorry if this feedback sounds rude, my intention is to share an honest feedback about CTC episodes.
    What's the point of this episode of CTC? There's no clutter in this matter and just sounds like a bunch of details are being narrated. There's an overdose of pakistan-centric news which are very tactical in nature without much analysis.
    It would have been interesting to hear about SVB and the banking issue. The impact of SVB on Indias startup ecosystem, the meeting of Rajeev Chandreshekar with Indian startups.

    Imran Khan is a very very popular leader in Pakistan and it is understandable that he is prominent in the local media. Infact he is everywhere. Men, Women, old and young all are on the IK bandwagon. But what surprises me is the huge amount of interest in Imran Khan in the Indian media (try 'Imran Khan in the Indian media' on youtube)
    Why do the Indians even care for a politician in a neighboring country who is not even in the government!!!!
    Big question here is
    Why are the Indians so obsessed with a former President of a (supposedly) failed state?

  • @sambrish
    @sambrish Рік тому +1

    Rolex is most popular luxury watch brand, but they're not very exclusive(because they have some models starting at 8000CHF).
    The crown of watch brands is hold by 3 brands which are commonly referred as "Holy Trinity", the brands are Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and Vacheron Constantin, all are Swiss made and most exclusive. BTW there are brands who have even more expensive watches than these 3 but the old saying of "you cannot buy history" overrules here.

    • @lecorsaire2283
      @lecorsaire2283 Рік тому

      Depends on the Rolex you’re talking about. I would say they’re more exclusive today than they’ve been in the past. The retail price is misleading because unless you’re a VIP or have an established relationship with a dealer, they will not sell you any of the in demand models for retail.

    • @sambrish
      @sambrish Рік тому

      @@lecorsaire2283 not the case in India(where this video is from), every Rolex dealer have those starting range models(AIR-KING/MILGAUSS/OYSTER PERPETUAL...) in stock and they would offer some discounts too(not much but around 10%), same goes with their higher models.
      But in case of any brand from Holy Trinity even the used watches would be sold on a premium and new one are rare finds always having 30% or more premium.

Why not state politics of USA, China, Russia or Zimbabwe? 1- 2% don't make the majority, nor do they make it international. The majority of viewers here are indians and indians living abroad.
      And what has English got to do with anything? Finance minister gives budget in English, but in lakhs and crores. Every financial institution and company gives statements in english, but in lakhs and crores. Salaries come in lakhs and crores and so do your car and house loans. All business in india is conducted in lakhs and crores, including the print's!
