Several years ago I saved a young couple from dehydration on a long hike after a difficult route. They were literally on the verge of passing out, and I carried 4 liters of water with me the entire time because I knew the route was long. Some people don't plan their trip well, and it can end badly
Fr always be prepared for hiking bring minimum of 5 liter's if you know it's a long hike

Third time watching this video. I loved the storytelling, multiple POVs and animations. Props to Socks, Nadwe, Oof, Brian, Carson and the other cameraman for doing this dangerous hiking trip despite being low on supplies and on a tight schedule. These guys got injured (Oof tearing his muscles), suffered dehydration (Nadwe hasn't drank a drop of water for hours and physically can't continue if it werent for Socks encouragement) , aand have sleepless nights just for their audience entertaiment. What a dedication.
As a person who claimed 13 stairs to get to a top of a mountain I would see this as a absolute agreeable video

I love how they abandoned nadwe and didn't think much of it
In the actual video, they did worry for Nadwe but Socks and Oof were just very exhausted. Like Socks was mentally drained and barely talking while Oof was fainting every 10 minutes. Meanwhile Nadwe is barely functioning, dehydrated and can't take another step so they have to leave him on the tent. And they still needed to finish the video so they wont miss their flight.

I only did hiking twice (same hike path). The first time was with my family and it sucked. My legs were so tired that my dad had to drag me to finish the hike. Second time was with my little sister and my classmates and was a very fun experience. So I guess its more fun with more people , the merrier.
