I remember going to game 2 with my mom and we were sooooo depressed after because we thought that was gonna be the last game at AT&T/Oracle that season. Thank God we were wrong!
I was about to say, I remember Huff made the roster and did absolutely nothing, but I completely forgot that Xavier Nady was on the team. That 2012 team really didn’t have much offensive depth on the bench, lol
13:03 this angle really gives you a good idea of what it’s like facing Chapman. I couldn’t even imagine what 6mph faster than that pitch would be like. It almost seems like you’d need to start your swing just before his release 😅
If Brandon phillips doesn’t get greedy we either have the cardinals or reds in the World Series. I think both would have been favorites against the tigers.
Yeah the tigers Lowkey screwed themselves sweeping the Yankees. They had too much of a break in between the ALCS and the world series, where the Giants were red hot coming from a 7 game series. Reds or cardinals probably would've won against the tigers too.
I still can't believe the Giants won this game. It was the Reds' game to lose, and the Reds lost. Well, I'm happy with the result, so I can't complain.
Okay. I was at Game 1 when Cain got beat. Then after Game 2 loss, I checked out emotionally. Couldn't have my heart broken. So by Game 3 I told myself, "Nah, I don't care if they lose." Then with a 1 to 1 tie going into the 10th, I felt my heart strings tug. Fugettaboutit. I'm rooting for my team, even if it hurts in the end. When they pulled it out, I bout cried. And I was in the rest of the way. What a team! TEAM. That's always been the thing about SF, especially during those WS runs. They're a team. No offense to the superstars who've come and gone. It takes a village.
So the camera work on that lazy flyball by Rolen in the 9th, I remember sitting in a bar in SOMA thinking shit that's a rap, seasons over.....Couple weeks later we were in the yard for Mr. Panda's October😁 Vamos Gigantes
Love the old TBS scoreboard

Aya Newman lol That feeling after each elimination game we faced was just too much! Didn’t want us going home😭
Aya Newman same. I remember my mom bought orange hair spray for my brother and I, and we brought signs for the game. I was also very sad when we lost.
I was there too. Bronson Arroyo outpitching Bum. The rest is history in the most thrilling playoff run ever.
Keep them coming brotha. I was hoping you would do the 2012 post season.
sean youre the mvp for posting all these highlights, specially at a time like this
Wow this is such a different team from 2010
Forgot huff was still on the team. And Xavier nady XD

Ew racist Huff
Good memories. We will be back in the post season soon again.
I just love it when the Giants win a playoff game

Sketchiest game of the whole postseason, it felt like 3 different Reds just missed taking Romo deep and ending the series.
Thanks for being back these great memories back!! Keep them coming bro
2:23 shows how strong Buster’s arm was, all arm n throws an absolute DOT 🎯
What your overall favorite giants post season series to watch?
Love this series

SF Giants Hall of Fame nominees: Brooks Conrad, Scott Rolen
i love these
I don't know what's up with the TBS microphones. All the cracks of the bat sound like slaps.

15:02 Everything changed after this. Giants stayed alive and went on to win World Series.
would yall have kept chapman in for at least 1 more inning lol
In the dictionary under the word clutch you'll see the 2012 SF Giants.
Cincinnati fans brought brooms to this game.
Oops.
This may have been the worst game the Giants ever won.
Maybe not the worst of every game they won, including the regular season, but quite possibly the worst of any postseason game they won.
Just a really well pitched game is all
