Traits are a thing that I just never used for the longest time and kind of forgot that they had existed to begin with, largely because I'd just homebrew in things specific to my players characters and the backstories they'd given
At our table we have a rule...if you have the book you can play it...with that our pf1e campaigns had a lot of dnd 3.5 aspects. We had tons of 3.5 books when the pf1e core books came out there wasn't much to go off at the time. Dnd Player's Handbook 2 page 71 had 2 feats i had used in my alchemist build which are: General Feat- Grenadier. +1 to att and damage w/splash weapons. Tactical Feats - Mad alchemist. Give you access to three maneuvers. The Grenadier Feat and Splash Weapon Mastery Feat you mentioned 16:00 would work off each other amazing. The Mad Alchemist Feat is more suited for a low-level campaign, I think, and would go another way since you don't get many feats. Thank you for the content 🙏
I would recommend Additional Traits to the top five, maybe top three. Especially for traits that improve bombs, alchemy, initiative, and skills.
This is definitely one I'll have to come back to, given that I've recently-ish been trying to be better covering traits and the like.
Great video! Some of these feats will be great for other builds too! Thanks!
Did you also go over the use of Traits?
