I keep coming back to this song. I'm waiting for Jimmy to stand up, kick his bench back, and break into a full Jerry Lee. Those three cousins (Jimmy, Jerry Lee, and Mickey) could sure work a piano over. Each has their slight differences, but all in all, they sound alike, and play alike.
Still my favorite song of all time, especially the way Brother Swaggart does it. Brother Jimmy is the reason I started playing and because of this song
Lirycs: Looking for a city Here among the shadows in a lonely land, We′re a band of pilgrims on the move Burdened down with sorrows, shunned on every hand, Looking for a city built above. Looking for a city, where we'll never die, There the sainted millions, never say good-bye, There we′ll meet our Savior, and our loved ones too,Come O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew. In this land of dangers going here and there Trusting in the blessed Saviors love; Tho' we may be strangers, in this world of care, Looking for a city built above. Looking for a city, where we'll never die, There the sainted millions, never say good-bye, There we′ll meet our Savior, and our loved ones too, Come O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew Words: W Oliver Cooper Music: Marvin P Dalton (1943)
I went to a concert of his in Oakland, CA way back when. During his sermon, a tiny, little old lady in the audience got up and walked across the front row to go to the restroom. This man, stopped his sermon and yelled at the ushers..."DON`T EVER LET ANYONE WALK IN FRONT OF ME WHEN I AM PREACHING!!!" Really kind of left a bad taste taste in my mouth. He can certainly play the hell out of that piano, though.

My great uncle W. Oliver Cooper is the author of this tremendous song. Family is very proud of its impact and the way it represents.

Are you talking about that guy in blue jeans that sings the song absolutely horribly? My brother showed me that years ago. It's HILARIOUS.
