Did the potatoes burn in the bottom of the blender? I tried to make the potato soup in the PC cookbook that came with the blender and mine burned on the bottom.
@@CookingwithLouise I used the brush and got as much off as I could and then I used oil and salt. Finally got it all off. Do you have another way? Making this recipe today! Yummmmm!
I just tried this and it burned the bottom of blender. Also, the potatoes tasted raw. I put it on heated purée to cook it longer but it still tasted like raw potatoes.
Thank you for the great demonstration. Can this blender simmer? As in, to make a sauce that needs time to thicken without having to stand over it and constantly stir?
I love your energy and it’s a great recipe. However mine burned at the bottom :(. The cheese sunk to the bottom and got stuck under the blade. Most likely because my cheese was frozen so most likely my fault!
Thank you for the compliment and thank you for watching my videos!! I think using frozen cheese most probably was the reason why it burned. To clean the burnt off, I suggest a little baking soda and a few drops of peroxide. I have also heard salt and vinegar solution and our small Duel Sided Cleaning Brush works well. Happy New Year to you!
Really? did you do it according to the directions? The correct type of potato? The right amount of liquid. If scorching happens, use a little bit of peroxide to cover the blades, sprinkle baking soda and do the heated wash. That will remove any scorching.
Our family favorite is the mushroom soup.... The deluxe blender is my favorite most used small appliance as it cooks and cleans itself
I haven’t tried mushroom soup yet... but I will now!!
I have a blender that does this, I’ve always loved my my moms potato soup.

No mine didn’t. Do you know how to clean it?

It has a sauce setting. But I’m not sure if it will do what you are thinking,

Can you use milk instead of the vegetable stock?
Great question. I wouldn’t suggest all milk. The veggie stock adds some extra flavor.

Can you make it but leave some small chunks of potatoes in it?
Mitzi Collins not really. Unless you cook some potatoes separately and add them. Thanks for asking! 😉
My blender didn’t cook the soup enough and my potatoes are still raw I tried cooking it again and than the soup burnt
