Ich liebe die Gespräche abseits von Manowar (obwohl ich die Band liebe und die mich mit 12 Jahren und „Carry on“ zum Metalhead gemacht haben). Das zeigt so viel von seiner Persönlichkeit. Ich hatte nach 30 Jahren Manowar hören keine Ahnung, dass ich Eric Adams so sympathisch finden könnte. Ich feier die beiden Folgen mit ihm hart und hör jetzt den Podcast weiter.

This is like a dream come true. I've been a hiker and wild walker since I was 10. I heard the first interview you did just before I met Eric in Birmingham 2019 on the Ultimate Manowar experience. The fact that he is not only an amazing singer, but he loves the outdoors like I do makes me very happy. I actually saw 5 fawns in the woods today, and thought of Eric. Then I saw this was uploaded, along with the podcast episode. Spooky stuff! Yet also amazing. I've listened now to most of your other episodes of Unfolding Maps (Epic title btw). I found Manowar in about 1990. I bought fighting the world. Then kings of metal and couple more after. I love there songs and his voice is amazing. I feel that they declined after Ross the Boss was kicked out. There still amazing but there best music was during his time
I agree. How does an unknown band working on their debut album get Orson Welles on their record? Iron Maiden couldn't get Vincent Price on The Number of the Beast, and Maiden already had two albums out.
For whatever reason he always reminds me of Mary Lou Retton, that genuine A1 smile they both have, no bullshit upfront people, Eric Adams man what a cool guy, my grandfather was like that, someone you can always count on, a tower of strength.
