Del Art Presents: Art Class Mural Paintings

Launching the Visual Art class 2021-2022 Painting Project Installed in Main Building. 13 students painted 3, 54x72 inch canvases. The criteria was to choose a culture they identify with and look at stories/myths/legends. Each student had to choose an element from their chosen narrative. In groups, students designed a composition after looking at the history of painting and folklore’s influence on art. Students unified their styles by painting in the hard-edge technique which requires no blending, and creating sections for different values
