I turned my Dad onto Dale's Seasoning, it's a liquid seasoning basically Identical to Soy Sauce, and everytime either of us make Pot Roast, it's absolutely mandatory that we use Dale's or Soy Sauce in it. I actually poke holes in my finished burger patty and put either on it as well. Sometimes on steak or pork tenderloin. It's good stuff, I imagine that stew was awesome there by the fire. Meat is getting harder to find here in East Tennessee as well, and when you do, it's ridiculously expensive. Hamburger Meat is an occasional treat now. Mullien can make a kind of soap as well and the tea is good for cold and cough. Good all around survival plant. I second your closing comments. Stay safe guys.
I've never heard of Dale's, I'll need to check and see if our local grocery store carries that. The stew by the fire really stuck to the ribs and in the memory banks. Rain, wind, fire, stew, ponchos...that's a fantastic combination. Closing comments is our family motto.

Right on, John! That TCOP is hard to beat in my opinion.
I bet those or gloves are pretty expensive lol I use the Kevlar camelback with the gauntlet wrist in coyote color can’t wait to get better from this chemical allergy from work lol long story but I’ve got the bottoms of the level 7 I want the vest in xl when I get a few paydays under my belt I’ve been down for several months I’m glad we have prepped it saved my butt too fried spam with scrambled egg s is so good lol thanks for the info guys I can’t wait to get back into them mountains again !!

I bought the ILBE 2012 and love it, especially for the size for Canadian winter camping. As of late, I’ve been eyeing up the FILBE. Can you or any subscribers give me their opinion. Much appreciated and keep up the good work!
Absolutely love the FILBE main pack and the entire system. It's heavy, but, these bags can take a beating.
Some really good cookpots that are very affordable that I recommend trying out is the MSR Alpine Stowaway Pots. They come in various sizes, my wife and I have the 1 liter size(it's actually like 1.4 liter or something like that, I just can't remember exactly lol) in our Bug Out Bags. They lock closed and have a flip out handle so you can cook in the fire and eat right out of the pot. I got them from REI's website for $20 each. They are very similar to the Stanley cook pots but a little more heavy duty. Anyways, thought you might want to check them out.
We have an REI about an hour and a half from where we live and I think we'll need to take a ride to see what they have.
At just above freezing the gear you slept in I would sweat out very bad. However, my AO is also still frozen and under a foot of snow.
That loadout was overkill!
The happy suit is the out there. Extremely inexpensive, unlike the name brands.
