Bruce and Springsteen would like a word. Hahaha just kidding. Wildflower is definitely the most recognizable, stand out character. I don’t get the impression that the majority of Tom’s viewers really understand/appreciate what a gifted actor he is. So often when he’s steaming people will make comments suggesting they haven’t watched Coach and/or the sagas. When I started watching, I binged everything like I would a brand new gem of a show on tv or Netflix or whatever. Tom writes such layered, nuanced characters that are unique and interesting as stand-alone characters, that are also parodies of any or all of the following: a team, it’s players or a single notable player, the region, the fan base, the teams current standing or legacy in the context of the league (obvious example being that New England was the brash bully older brother that picked on the AFC EAST), he writes compelling dialogue, has phenomenal comedic timing, his characters develop over time, he has great vision for how he wants every shot to look… Tom is one of those people that’s just ridiculously gifted at so many things, extremely intelligent, and most importantly he works HARD. I guess even more important than that is they you can tell he’s a good person.
Yo, shoutout to Wildflower for filling in for Tom and make this video so incredible. His charisma is stuff of kings. Also, glad Tom got well again to enjoy some history
Dear Tom Grossi, I cannot thank you enough for the amazing fan experience in DC on Friday. I purely lucked into meeting you, I had this trip planned with my family months out before you announced the 30 in 30 campaign. On my way to DC I got into a car wreck, my car is only slightly messed up. The 9th was like any other day on my trip, heading to all the museums when I suddenly saw you in front of the Smithsonian! I couldn't believe my eyes at first, and I kinda just stood there. When I could finally speak it was a mess (I am autistic and social interactions aren't my strong suit.) I cannot thank you enough for the kindness you showed me by helping take the picture and all. Then the fan meet up, I convinced my sisters to take me and so we rushed over there, the group of fans there were amazing, and you Tom, you were amazing. Your goal and fundraiser for St. Judes is so admirable and I will donate as soon as I get home, which is today actually. This experience was worth every single second of it, the pain of walking all over DC (I was limping basically most the day and still am) but I would do it 100 times over to do this again. When I got to my airbnb, I cried as everything just finally hit me, never in my life did I expect to meet a UA-camr, and especially not one who was so kind and caring for every single one of his fans. So Tom, I thank you so much. Never did I think that I, some random Patroits fan from Ohio, would meet you, in DC no less! So once again, I thank you. Up the Irons and Go Pats!
*all comments read this in a wildflower voice* Wowzers! I'm a big fan of Wildflower Turquoise! I hope Wildflower makes so many friends and I'm very happy he made it to the pointy stick
Getting to walk Tom around the museums will no doubt be the highlight of my year. If you get a chance to go to a fan meet up please do, Tom is an amazing guy and a pleasure to be around! Can't wait to see you again the next time you visit DC!
Tom, just know, you're doing great things in this world. You're doing this whole thing to help local businesses, help St. Jude, and meet your fans... Thanks for being such a great person, we need more people like you in this world.
5:48 On that same day, I went to the Smithsonian Zoo in DC and yeah it's great that they're free. As a DC resident, I have been to most of the places showcased in this video
I did not expect these videos to be so emotional. I’ve had to fight back tears of appreciation on nearly every episode. I enjoyed this happy-go lucky video as well. Fantastic work as usual.
Love Wildflower, love Tom and love MY TEAM!!!! I’ve been a Redskins/Football team/Commanders fan for over 30 years. I can definitely say it’s been a hard past 24 years! We want a winning team again and with new ownership coming in i having felt so much optimism with this team in a very long time! DC is unique in that the people that live here are really from all over. The DMV is truly America rolling into one! So HTTC and just win Baby!
The DC meetup was awesome. I started a Fuck Dan Snyder chant and got so many compliments on my "this team makes me drink" shirt. BTW Tom, how was the beer I gave you?
It was so awesome getting to be a part of this and to see Tom enjoyed the place I call home. If he hasn't been to your city yet, I highly recommend. Not just to meet Tom, but to meet so many amazing people who share one common interest: Doing Chaotic Good and the love for our little city and team.
Tom, I have spent time in Washington DC. Having spent days going to the Smithsonian. It took me a half a day exploring each of the museums. Waiting to go again to see the Native American museum. Last time they were discussing building it . But you don't forget to visit the memorials and if you have time try see Arlington National. It always put the meaning of what was sacrificed so we can enjoy our favorite sports. 😢
Wildflower has such a personable personality. Seems like an awesome person to get to know and brought a unique flavor to this video visiting his favorite team’s city
As a commanders fan living just outside DC, I really looked forward to you coming here and seeing our amazing city. Even though I couldn’t make it to the fan event, I’m so glad you got to see the amazing history and all that makes Washington, DC what it is. Tell wildflower I say hi.
From the very start of the intro, I knew where Tom was going with it…. And still, when it cut to Wildflower, and Wildflower’s voice, I still completely lost it! 😂😂😂 Bless this man! Thanks for a great series so far, Tom! I know this probably won’t mean anything (cause I’m a complete stranger and my word doesn’t mean much), but I’m so proud of you and all of the chaotic good that you do in the world! Safe travels, my friend!
I was in D.C. this November for my 8th grade trip. We went on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and the Monday night football game that week was ironically the Commanders vs. Eagles when the Eagles got their first loss of the year. D.C. was one of the best places I have ever visited, mostly because I'm 14 and haven't been to many places but that's besides the point. I hope you had fun Tom! Edit: at 4:56, it's kinda weird to think about but I was probably 30 ft behind where Tom was standing at one point, pretty cool!
I had taken a trip to Washington D.C. back in June 2004, right around the time when one of the U.S.A.'s greatest presidents Ronald Reagan had died. A truly great and educational trip, but also somber. There's a whole encyclopedia's worth of history and knowledge to learn about in the district; truthfully, you would need to set aside a full week-long trip to witness it all and absorb all the information. I appreciate the uniqueness of the World War II Memorial; it along with the other memorials is worth visiting. Common consensus amongst the other posts here is how Wildflower Turquoise is funny. I agree. 4:31 "Ooh, a big pigeon must live there." 😄 A good amount of comedy here for 30 in 30 #11. This journey of Tom's is commanding me to keep following so I can watch the entire thing.
The difference in the fan experience between DC and Baltimore couldn't be more stark. The Ravens organization really make an effort to earn your fandom. The Commanders organization (under Snyder) just milked the fans they largely despised.
I bought a 30 for 30 tshirt and i have donated to saint jude. I cant afford to do much else but watch and like your videos. Been subscribed since 2020. Go pack go. Plus hail tom grossi!
Tom, as someone who was in DC for several days twice, you need to plan at least one week if you want to see everything and enjoy it, not just see it. Two for exploring for the little nooks as well.
@@gilded_lady my two cents: Hillwood Estate is widely regarded as one of the best art museums and estate grounds outside of the national mall area (this is over in Van Ness, along Connecticut Ave). One of the big claims is that it has the largest collection of Russian art outside of Russia, and it also holds a lot of 18th and 19th century French art National Arboretum in Northeast is one of the best areas for nature--it has collections of every state tree in the US, a bonsai museum, and the old columns which used to hold up the US Capitol before they built the Capitol Dome. The US Botanic Garden just south of Capitol Hill is also a good alternative if you don't want to go all the way up New York Avenue Georgetown has a ton of hidden gems throughout the whole neighborhood. Roosevelt Island as a whole is basically a hidden gem, best accessed from Georgetown
Wish I could’ve gone but had work that day. Washington fans are the most dedicated because after all we have been through over the years, we are still fans.
It doesn't surprise me at all that the Commanders would fail to take advantage of the potential good press and community building from interacting with you and the fans. Such an easy, cheap opportunity to show the fans that have stuck with them through Dan Snyder's BS that they are actually trying to change.
Tom even in the off-season you have found a way to stay the hardest working man on UA-cam and deliver quality content let alone raise a ton of money for a good cause. Keep it up can't wait to see you on PMS tomorrow

The contrast between the heartfelt baltimore episode and the great humor of this one shows why you’re such a great youtuber (from a baltimore native)
Great to see FivePointsVids and Tom Grossi meeting up.
At least Wildflower knows the Big Pointy Stick will always be right where he found it.
Tom, just to warn you there is a scammer trying to be you replying to these comments and offering up 'gifts' if contacted direct.

Johnny Barks wake up call was hilarious
Wildflower's voice is very calming. It makes me smile and forget about the stress I previously had.
What a surprise seeing Five in this video as well! Let's see what chaotic energy Tom and Tree have in tomorrow's video
Tom, just know, you're doing great things in this world. You're doing this whole thing to help local businesses, help St. Jude, and meet your fans...

That part where Wildflower punched Chase Young to Seattle was awesome.

Love it when Wildflower is in Washington and FivePoints showing up
It was great seeing you in cinci today, hope the Akern and the Buckeye bring you luck on the rest of the trip!

Love this series so much, congrats Tom on raising so much money for St Jude! Can't wait to see how much we raise at the end of June!
Notice Urinating Tree subtly sneaking into the top 5 at the end of the video
Still can’t believe I missed the Bengals meet up today. The one dang time I’m out of town 😭
Looks like we showed out though! WHO DEY
Have loved seein Five and Tree in the groups!
pumped to see u on the Pat show today Mr. Tom, make it great!
Tom , your living your dream as far as i can tell, been super fun watching you, happy to watch success when its earned indefinetly
You are always welcomed in dc grossi and wildflower as well. Your videos are amazing
That "Total Raised" at the end of the video is about to skyrocket after Monday!!! So pumped for McAfee today
At the least, Washington fans have Tom's most beloved character.
I was at work when this was happening and I’m so upset I had to miss it 😢 glad Wildflower enjoyed himself

As a Washington fan I love Wildflower!! Take my donation and thank you Tom for the good work you're doing for St. Jude 🙏🏾
Hey Wildflower:
Next time you come out to DC, go out to the mountains and visit Shenandoah
Wildflower is easily my favorite character
Shout out to the DC community and Washington fans. We’ve been through it all.

Gotta love the triple "Spider-Man Pointing" bit at 4:38.
Keep making these amazing videos. These donations to St. Jude are very beneficial and it’s fun to see what makes each city and fanbase special.

Like I said to a comment above, it's probably easier for a smaller market team, like Baltimore, to accommodate Tom
The result: Washington's most beloved team is now the Nationals, closely followed by the Caps.
I bought a 30 for 30 tshirt and i have donated to saint jude. I cant afford to do much else but watch and like your videos. Been subscribed since 2020. Go pack go. Plus hail tom grossi!
That was amazing, Tom. What an EXCEPTIONAL character.
Wildflower for President!!! "A man of the people and the trees"
YES
I'm tired of old people. He's got my vote is he green party?
Awesome stuff as always Tom it’s cool to see how much larger and larger the crowds of people get
