Hey! I have this camera and sadly it does not record real 4k. It only records 1080P 25fps interpolated. But I bought it because it has great video quality if you use it on 1080P 60fps so I suggest you buy it

My firmware is in Version called "O4G7RK_170705". I'm not sure what the latest version is.
Only difference is h9r has remote

U must use a high speed sd card to film higher resolutions or 60fps... Something like class 10 U3 or V70

Any particular reason why you didn't show 4K? 1080p looks sharp, even around the edges, with actually decent stabilisation but very pronounced purplish tinge. Also, no barrel distortion setting?
nederlanderman I only render my YT videos in 1080p, so showing a 4K sample would be downscaled anyway, not showing the real quality, so I thought just show 1080p@60fps. Also the 4K of this camera is not native, but just upscaled interpolated 4K, it's ok but not so impressive. For real 4K you should go for a higher quality camera (might also then cost more). And it doesn't have any barrel distortion settings.
How does the Wi-Fi work? I have a tiny camera that _looks_ like this and the quality is pretty good (but it's not Eken). It has a Wi-Fi mode, but there's no way it's detecting my Wi-Fi. It may be a small Eken H9R lookalike, with the Wi-Fi crippled, but who knows? All I know is that it doesn't work.
The WiFi on this Eken works the way that you just activate it on the camera via a button, after that you can connect to it with a smartphone.

LOL, the EKEN H9R is a very good camera, there are even now copy's of it out, because it got so popular. And btw. nobody have to pay me, you got a free review, still the only thing you can do is to complain.
