Dynasty Warriors 5 Xing Cai 4th Weapon

First all max the character out. max: health, musuo, attack, and defense. Next get a decent 3 weapon. Put the game on hard or chaos (doesn't matter).
Stage: Battle of Bai Di Castle
Difficulty: Hard or Chaos
Parameters: Save the peasant militia (defeat enemy generals that attack them when they show up, southwest of castle). Let your health drop into the red until Liu Chan go out to save you. go to him and escort him back into the castle.
Special: I HATE XING CAI!!!! she is terrible. I mean terrible. Take out Zhou Tai before you do the health drop thing and try to do the health drop thing near the castle. Seriously I can't stand XING CAI...

To be honest, her c3 would have helped out loads in crowd clearing.

in a crowd it is ok however on single targets it mostly sucks since she can sail right by them. combine the two when you have to take down an officer while a crowd is attack and it will be a struggle without constant musou cancel. the charge attack move also carries with it a small lag time when she has to reset back to a normal stance to attack again. This is fine if you cancel with musou a lot or use a rage token, but in reality it sucks. if the lightning orb from the 4th game was in this game she would be a lot better but it was taken out and with the orb choices you have left she is more exposed unless she instant kills someone (shadow orb) or she freezes someone (ice orb) it comes down to mostly luck (seven star sash). If she had decent attack speed or something she would be better. In Warriors Orochi her C1 gave a defense boost so she can withstand multiple attacks during charges which made her much better. but she still sucks...

True... i didn't take that into consideration. Do you have the charge bracers cuz that gives her more of anedge with charge attacks?

Andre Bell I do but to compensate for all of the issues of Xing Cai i couldn't use it. if she had one more inventory slot i would use the charge bracer. I had to make a loadout that works for her without it making me go the route of spamming musou cancel and rage token. to be honest it is the only way to be effective with her. I tried a charge bracer loadout with her but i had to give up movement speed (bad since she can be overwhelmed by crowds with an officer pretty easy so escape is damn near impossible at times) I also tried a loadout where i sacrificed ginseng but that went badly she practically needs to constantly musou cancel. even with her fourth weapon she still has issues. she is frustrating to use at times. the sad thing is like i stated before a single orb change would make her loads better.

Personally, I enjoy using Xing Cai. I beat her whole musou mode when I haven't used her before easily, and I could tank 3 musou attacks without suffering a lot of damage.
