If memory serves me correct..... They had the "Conqueror" Album finalizes till Saiki or Miku noticed that it/the album needed maybe 1 more "higher/Faster tempo" song..... 3 weeks before going to press....so they asked Kanami to write an appropriate song.... This is the result. A deeply hidden gem.
This is one of the most memorable songs for Mincho...probably😏 Why? She was told by Saiki "Not over yet" when she thought the CQ album was completed. Micho had to compose this song in few days since then😱
Mr K, Mieux sent me the finished version of "Okaeri". It's a beautiful ballad with acoustic guitar & piano & Mieux's multi-layered vocals are haunting. She asked me not to share it cos it's going to be a CD but i'm also doing some art for it that she asked if i could do based on the lyrics "An emerald world where flowers bloom again". And you deserve a big thank you by suggesting her to me to do Okaeri in the first place.😁🙇♂️
The real Dilemma is deciding which Band-Maid song is the best or choosing which Maid you like better. Well, rest easy. There is no Dilemma because it's impossible to choose either. The songs are that good and the Maids are that cool. Sometimes excellence goes beyond the rating / comparison game! Thx, 2G!

I listened to the song twice-once just listening and the second time reading the lyrics. How does Miku write lyrics for Kanami’s compositions? She also includes English that fits the melody in just the right places.
2 GEN, I'm sure you listened to hard 70's rock in your youth. I have the perfect song from Band Maid reflecting that era. The song is "Chemical Reaction" a lesser reacted to song from their "Unseen World" album. There are so many great songs from that album, that "Chemical Reaction" gets overlooked. It shouldn't be. Please review it. There is an official live version of the song on the internet.
Miku has to write her lyrics to match Kanami's compositions...So this could be why when we in the west hear/ read the lyrics they can be tricky to decipher because Miku has to convey her meanings and feeling within a set time stamp of the music....Having to fit what you want to say within very short busts can be confusing for us if we don't know what she is trying to convey.....Hehehe!...well..I hope that makes sense.🤔....I'm sure Miku could cut it down to like 4 words...hehehe!.😁
