I like how you do your videos. It makes me feel like you have invited to the garage to do some switching lol. I enjoy the talking, it adds personality I think. I get inspiration from your videos to add things on my own layout. Thanks for the videos and if they don't like them then they can watch something else.
Nice video Engineer Rick. There are many videos out there and people can choose to watch them or not, but keep on making yours the way you want and I think they are just right. You need narration to help set the scene. Your railroad looks good. Your commenting is great, a little bit of this and that, including talking about trains, lol Sometimes you don't have your operations totally planned out that makes it fun too see how you are getting out of that mess. I don't have the patience or enough smarts to even consider a YT channel, that is why we enjoy others. Keep doing what you like and those that appreciate good content will be here. Stay well and safe, hope the fires stay away from you.
I agree with you Mr. Rick, presenters of model railroads should explain how they do operations and information the area and era in which they model. I know the Central Jersey Conrail use to go in details about the Sayreville & Lakehurst area of NJ. I wish that channel came back, but I'm sure you know the channel that I was referring too.
Hey Rick , been a follower for years now and i must say your videos are great and yes the explanation of the where abouts of each train and location makes it that more interesting and as if we are in the room with you .Thank you for your great channel Cheers . Look forward to the next one ! Daryl from Australia .
Fantastic layout and demonstration of using the car card process. Have you thought about entertaining a fully electronic car card routine, instead of paper stock? I'm considering building an on-screen car card program, where I can super impose waybills over the car card and exchange them when needed.
Hey Engineer Rick, Don't go changing! Love your Video Content! Although I may not comment much, I always enjoy and look forward the Videos! I Can't wait to see how and If the car cards progress. Ya thru a slider in there, I thought for sure you were gonna keep JRMI alive
Whenever someone is complaining about the quality of YT videos, ask to see the content that they are producing. 99/100 times they likely do not produce any content. Some people think YT is easy.
Enjoying the commentary about UA-cam and stuff... I've found people just enjoy complaining for the sake of complaining. It's easy to do when you're not making content yourself. I have one guy that commented on my video complaining that I shouldn't have a membership option for my channel... Because I wasn't a big enough name to ask people for money.... I have 1 member, who's a close friend, and it's 2 bucks a month... And I don't even advertise it...
Good morning engineer Rick! Your addition looking very sweet! I like the cement loadout. Have you ever thought about modeling something similar to the 1970's show "Emergency!"?
Actually, yes. It would be cool to have station 51 someplace on the layout but just dont have the room. I'll have to settle on John and Roy in their truck on the road someplace when I can find one.
Totally agree with you, Eng. Rick! My biggest pet peeve (in any subject or format) is no narration or captions! Litterally - “WHAT are you showing me; And WHY are you showing it to me!” At least you, like Boomer, explain things along the way.
Those Bluepoint controllers really looked cool on that car, like a load of transformers for SoCalEd. As for the critics: I would suggest focusing on content you enjoy. Oh wait: maybe you enjoy complaining.
Rick, suggest you add a fire extinguisher supply company in Orange. You could pay for the building using all the money you earn from You-Tube spread out over a few months.
You rich UA-camrs are all the same - constantly downing the viewers! 🙃 It's amazing that people will complain about specific channels when there is (almost) infinite content to choose from. Move on and find something you like without leaving a trail of negativity. I didn't really care for ops until I came across this channel. It grew my appreciation for this aspect of the hobby. I think the level of communication in your content is what I appreciate the most. For me, that makes it personal and more enjoyable than just some canned background music.
Great production So Cal. Love to catch your videos. And by the way talking on videos or not. Last I checked to the best of my knowledge no one is holding a gun to the viewers head to watch a video. They ought to find something else to cry about. How bout starting their own production and not talking on it. There you go. Start your own show and running it the way you like instead of criticizing folks who have their own platforms up and running. I'm out 🫳🏿🎤

Love the new SP GP9 😃👌🏼

Thanks for watching Daryl!
Weathering looks great on that SD9
I have installed 4 Bluepoint Turnout controllers, and they work great. Even use the contacts to control the frog polarity!
The GP-9 SP is a good looking engine, smooth running. Thank You.
It sure is!

Some people think YT is easy.
Yup. but then there are those guys that do live streams. they are the most annoying.

Youn were to drop off three boxcars? only did two cars! Love the videos!!
You're right, I forgot to drop off the third boxcar.
So, are you going to hook little locks to the Blue Point push rods?:
yes, but only to have them if needed.
Lol I was gonna ask you if you saw your mention on Trainorders. Twas grand.
Yeah, I saw it.
Totally agree with you, Eng. Rick! My biggest pet peeve (in any subject or format) is no narration or captions!

Happy day indeed
Does Mr. Torres (or is it someone else) has a hangover from last night? I hope it’s not a stroke! 😂👌

Nice video again rick
Thanks again!
