I found your channel because I just bought a new wok and wanted to find the best method to season it. I bought my old wok about 40 years ago and love that wok. It has a rich patina and I love cooking in it. However, I started making a new recipe that requires cooking vegetables a long time. The handles are like your new one and it gets incredibly hot. I bought one with a long wooden handle. Seems like cooking should be better with the new one. I'm glad I found your channel and look forward to seeing your new videos and past videos. You love wok cooking as much as me. Thanks for your help and all the very best.
The 5-ply is 3 layers of aluminum and 2 outer layers of stainless steel. It does nto have a steel middle layer like All-Clad. I wonder if 3 layers of aluminum is any different than one yaer (triply), other than it might be thicker?
The handles the way they are would be an instance no go. The appearance isn't very high on the need list, so it shouldn't be the first thing you notice when you open the box. It would be interesting to see how the 5-ply distributes the heat up the sides of the wok compared to your Cuisinart.

You have a great channel. I have learned so much and agree that the 3ply cuisinart is better all around esp. for the home cook...

I love you review and it assisted me in deciding to purchase this wok. But I bought it from Costco for $80.
Excellent review, thank you!

What about an Amway queen wok?
didnt you review this wok earlier? … is this a modified review?
The KA wok certainly is beautiful, but I think it's overpriced. I will keep my carbon steel and Cuisinart Stainless Steel woks!
Really good review, good points to highlight
