Looks amazing guys! 😍 We were in Vienna in February this year and had the kasekrainer (Bitzinger) and wiener schnitzel (Cafe Central). The food and beer in Vienna really blew us away! We weren't expecting it to be that good!
I am from Austria but live in London. I am so happy you tried all my favourite foods. I will be making Kaiserschmarrn for my grandson on Sunday. I agree with you. The Sachertorte is a bit dry, but I still enjoy it.
@@OneWayTicketAliHolly Hi Austrian here - you mentioned that there "is nothing else then vinegar, salt and oil" in it - that's actually not true - secret ingrediants are beef broth, taragon mustard and red onions (onions not so secret, as they should be visible)
I’ve never had Austrian food!! Omg, the food in this looks so good!!! Makes me so hungry, great work on the food tour. Definitely staying tuned, I just uploaded a food tour in my channel too!
Funny that you said that in your video but as a local, I find the original Sacher Torte dry too. Maybe try it next time at a different patisserie or coffee shop.
Kaiserschmarrn is not pancakes! and nobody would eat that for breakfast. And Sachertorte is famous everywhere but within Austrians. We prefer other cakes.
@@OneWayTicketAliHolly They were probably invented by monks who were not allowed to eat meat on Fridays and during Lent. Therefore, they hid the meat in pasta dough! 🤣

Hi! I really enjoyed the food in Austria. I hope you have a great time making Kaiserschmarrn with your grandson.
Potato salad is the best!

Yeah, I definitely need to give it another try.

As an Austrian im gonna let u in on a lil secret concerning that potato salad... its a little bit of sugar and pumpkin seed oil! ;)
Thank you! We love the potato salad.
May have gone into sugar shock at all those delectable pastries & cakes!
Yeah, we really had to pace ourselves. We wanted to try all the pastries.
you pay the same for a starbucks coffee over here, and that is like sewage water compared to viennese coffee
Viennese coffee was so good!
guys should i try a pork or a veal schitnzel? which ones better in vienna
We tried the veal schnitzel and it was delicious.
I agree that the Hotel Sacher is not the best place for Sacher Torte in Vienna.
Say "soccer tortuh", not "satcher torTAY". And please tell every other North American youtuber who visits Vienna the same thing.
Not too bad? ???? Who does he think he is?
You don't take a bite of someting on your fork! - learn to eat properly!

What is your favorite Austrian food?
all "Mehlspeisen" are delicious in AT, not only the sweet
@@arnodobler1096 We only tried the sweet one, but when we go back we'll have to try a savory one. Thanks for the recommendation!
@@OneWayTicketAliHolly If you are in South Germany give "Maultaschen" a try
@@arnodobler1096 Thank you! Just googled Maultaschen. Looks delicious! It looks similar to ravioli.
