it really doesn't make sense to me how people think they hate each other. like, they're not that oblivious, y'know? Often people forget that they're human, and can think and speak. not publicly, yes, we've established that. but hey, they "once", could still, ya never know, had something special. I mean, they even lived together! let's say they were best friends, don't you think someday, they were at their apartment or shit and had a talk about how it's annoying people think they're together? maybe everyone they worked with, they knew, saw that they weren't together, so it was just a fanmade thing. I'm sure they wouldn't be stupid enough to let something from social media which constantly bombards them to affect what THEY had/have. and now, who knows, they could be dating, best friends, or band mates. just because we don't get to see how they are on camera means that's how they are behind closed doors. and true, just how they could speak up (not so easy) about how they're together...
if they really were together, which again isn't easy because coming out is a whole new issue and being in a secret relationship is hard. also maintaining a straight boy image. But just how people think they could speak out if they really were together, they could also speak out if they weren't! you see, One Direction give mixed signals, and that really tells you something. their management team obviously control them and have reasons as to why they conceal certain topics involving the band. so if they weren't together, they could speak out. and if they weren't together and don't speak out, there would be a reason. But thinking that they hate each other and it's too awkward for them is kind of ridiculous. In case you've forgotten, they're BANDMATES, once were apartment mates, best friends and have literally spent nearly everyday of the past six years of their lives together. I'm sure they can use some form of communication and solve it between them. Don't assume they hate eachother.

Also one of the worst PR stunts ever was their team running with the story that the band "gave each other love bites" to conceal the fact that Harry and Louis had hickies bc they were together. What kind of middle school excuse is that? That's what you come up with and think you got away with, meanwhile your parents know exactly what you've been up to.
It's very obvious they had something very real and beautiful, not sure how long it lasted or how things got messed up by being on the spotlight together for 5 years, but like someone else said, it's a beautiful memory. We all hope they can get it back, but we may never know. Which is sad and breaks my romantic heart #longlivelarry
