Before winning this contest her father paid for about a year her training sessions (and brought her from Jeonju every Sunday and he waited until the evening while she received the lessons then took her home). After this she signed in to Starlight Academy as regular student (not as SM Entertainment trainee).
She sang this song when she was 15. OMG!!!!! No wonder why The One always chooses her as his best student. I think the fpride that he has for Taeyeon is not different from the feeling that Sone are proud of our beloved kidleader #taeyeon.

If you're going to listen to her voice and don't mind what age or year she sang this you would never thought that she was only 15 by then. For an age of 15 her voice is so powerful..
At this age you can really tell that she's still a trained singer, I don't think it was later until she learned how to add more emotion to her songs. Frankly, the amount of emotion she's able to convey while singing is what makes her such a good singer. If it wasn't for her ability to convey such feelings her voice would be mediocre.
To me this song has a very Christmassy feel to it which makes it perfect to listen to at this time of the year IMO. I really love this song!!!!!!!!!! They both sound wonderful!!!!!!!
