After Tai Lung got defeated by Po in the first movie, he created the continental and joined john wick under the name winston. Now where John died, he's after Po again as Tai Lung.
Ian McShane has had so much variety in his roles, it’s just crazy. From one of the best adventure franchises of all time (Pirates of the Caribbean) to one of the best animated franchises of all time (Kung Fu Panda) to one of the best action franchises of all time (John Wick). Slap Ian McShane anywhere and it’s a guaranteed banger.

I love Jack Black and Awkwafina's chemistry both in the show and behind the screens... as well as Ian Mcshane giving Tai Lung rather an egotistical side, even after his defeat in Po's paws in the first movie.

Ian McShane as Tai Lung is the *ONLY* villain that dialogues on-screen in fourth sequel, while Gary Oldman and J.K. Simmons never reprise their roles as Lord Shen and Kai
:( probably they were busy doing other projects.. hey at least, Lord Shen and Kai shown up as cameo appearances instead of voicing.
I'm kinda hoping that Tai Lung might be redeemed. 4:59

I know people missed characters like the Five and whatnot but this new duo of Po (Jack Black) and Zhen (Awkwafina) are going to be very enjoyable to watch. I still can't believe we're getting a fourth Kung Fu Panda, Just when you think the movie series was wrapped up in the third film, they make another one. Getting sort of a fresh start vibe with this film. Either way, I wasn't able to see the thrid one in cinemas so hopefully I will get the chance to see this one in theatres this time.

In the reason why a fifth movie because we haven’t even seen the how the furious five didn’t even appear in the fourth movie the only appear at the end so that’s supposed to explain something and they have to show up on the fifth movie in panda and the furious five training, the new dragon warrior, showing how to become a giant warrior and maybe a new villain
So first Gong Gong gets to be in all four movies, then Evelyn gets to be in the sequel, and now Waymond gets to be in this one!
Now we just need Stephanie Hsu (Joy) and Jamie Lee Curtis (Deirdre) in a potential 5th film
