Scenes like this make me realize why the Belchers are always struggling financially. They spend their money on nice things and get some excellent breaks-quality knife, baseball camp for Gene, new sofa, food truck, Superbowl commercial, publicity from the historical society, $100K investment from a millionaire and a successful tiki-theme remodel-but always end up wasting every opportunity. Smashed the nice knife, baseball camp was a scam, gave the new sofa away to be burned, incited a riot that destroyed food truck, commercial was a flop, let Jimmy Pesto have the historical society plaque that drew all the customers, gave back the $100K investment, and undid the tiki remodel which had driven many wealthy patrons to the restaurant. Bob's like the anti-Fischoeder: he never compromises on his principles, but his principles make him poor.
Yeah, but I suppose they're happier that way. They may be unhappy when struggling financially, but they probably would be a lot more unhappy with the changes. (Not including the the truck and the plaque.)
The sofa 🛋 one was especially dumb because the only reason they wanted the old one was because of all the throw up and couch creases over the years, that’s dumb. I lost a sandal 🩴 in the bay once, you’re not gonna see me scuba diving 🤿 to the bottom just to get it. Inanimate objects come and go. It’s not the couch that matters, it’s who you sit on it with.
Misfortune follows Bob as if he angered a trickster god. But sometimes he says 'you know what, my soul hasn't been destroyed recently so I'm going to do something really, really stupid'
I bought a $200 dalstrong chef knife last year. 10 1/4 inches. Very nice knife. I love it. Hand hammered steel. I love this show but I would never use it against a hammer lol. As a cook, I know where Bob is coming from. I bought a decent knife set a few years back, but they're like tattoos. I want more.
Bob has and always been a genius with his burgers, but a professional chef implies he made it big But the charm of bob is the fact he's an unrecognized artist
I love that little jab at teddy and Bob " the tasks will determine the biggest tool "better tool" only i am pretty sure Linda meant to say it the way she did and bob and teddy just didn't get it
That jingle sound at the end is actually painful to me and to others with extremely sensitive ears And I actually do mean painful. It actually hurts like hell to listen to that. Do not think I’m saying is uncomfortable, It’s physically painful
Why did this strangely feel like the hammer and knife were metaphors for something else ?😭and when Linda said she wanted to get involved with the Olympics it felt strange. Then when they spoke about hitting them together 😳
As professional chef...i feel this video offended to me...bob clearly not appriate that knife and he not a professional chef...go teddy destroy that hyprocrite chef knife and hope
He quickly went from being upset with his knife being destroyed to being impressed with the hammer that did it. I love this show.
11th season starts this month... YAY!!!!!.. by the way... How's Christine? LOL
He just going to go up until he hits an orbital laser
I like how the salesperson is literally trying to talk him out of it but he buys it anyway.
Speaker Roach I think they meant the 24 hour cooling off part
Bob put every ounce of confidence he had, that his knife was gonna cut a hammer🤣🤣🤣
Much to his chagrin....
Chop chop chop!!
The hubris of man
“It was made by hammers, hammers can only make it stronger”.
hehehe ..Logical? Right? hehehe
Moment later: "AHH, it's not getting stronger, FUKINAWA"
@@HammyTechnoid Reminds me of the moment in Home Movies when McGuirk tells Melissa that playing with a cast on is better.
Nailed it
Bob used his $300 knife against a $25 hammer
Yeah.. not his smartest move... makes you want a McClacklin... LOL
It was not effective.

This is why this is my favorite cartoon in history, because all the characters are so relatable.

This shows how repetitive the show can get.
"Nail Tomatoes?" I think this might be the only time where Teddy had a position of intellectual superiority in the series. XD
Misfortune follows Bob as if he angered a trickster god. But sometimes he says 'you know what, my soul hasn't been destroyed recently so I'm going to do something really, really stupid'
as a professional cook, when we get new fancy knifes like a fukinawa, this reaction is completely accurate to how we use it and play with it
"Who the hell's Indiana Joe?" 🤣
I bought a $200 dalstrong chef knife last year. 10 1/4 inches. Very nice knife. I love it.

I got a Phantom Series chef's knife from Dalstrong and it's only used by me in the house. I can't let anyone else use it.
Lmao even Linda was like meh when Bob said he was a professional chef 😂
I'm not saying he's not, it's just funny
But he's not
He really isn't lol
I mean, his burgers are apparently so good that they kept a man from calling the cops on him after committing a breaking and entering
@@PHATB0Y20 I mean he is chef and thats his profession
Sooo technically he is
Bob has and always been a genius with his burgers, but a professional chef implies he made it big

I like how Bob and Teddy act like brothers.
Every chef in his life has had this moment holding a Japanese knife
Same as musicians with new instruments.
This was Bob at his dumbest and I love it
The fact that Bob believed his knife could chop through a hammer! 😂
I love that little jab at teddy and Bob " the tasks will determine the biggest tool "better tool" only i am pretty sure Linda meant to say it the way she did and bob and teddy just didn't get it
Aww, you cut out the part where they start destroying the counter and Mort walks in, looks at them and goes "I'll come back later"
you dont need an expensive knife, you just need an expensive knife sharpener and everything is an expensive knife
But how many Russians did Archer Bob kill with that knife?
Knife: I’m the greatest tool.
Hammer: Hold my nails.
This is why Bob can’t have nice things.
And why the family is poor.
this is what happens when u tell your friend you have Snap-on and MAG tools, and they say I only use DeWalt and Milwaukee 😂
How phlegmmy can we make Teddy sound???
Maaaah-cladghdah-lllyyyn!!!
Not a chef but as a home cook I had a similar reaction when I bought my first Japanese knife.
Just as a reference, the “Fukinawa” is based on the Shun knife brand. I don’t really know what Teddy’s hammer would be in real life.
"I really want a McClacklin." - Bob Belcher
Dewalt maybe?
Irwin is a hammer with the highest rating, and it's about $10. For price most hammers are under $25.
Stiletto Hammers can be upwards of 500$, so thats what i was thinking of but it doesnt look that fancy lol
Pretty sure it's just a random name. Maybe someone who works for the show or something
Its time like these you really see Bob's passion for cooking. Conversely you also see the reasons why Mr. Dowling doesn't take Bob seriously.
I try to root for Bob, then he does compound stupid things like this. 🙄 Between the knife and the couch, they literally just threw away $800.
Chop Chop Chop Chop.................. TOO Funny!
Bob is still making car payments on that old ass car. 😹
You took a day to figure things out?🤣🤣🤣
“MACLACHLAN!!!”
I came here looking for the proper spelling of the hammer brand... this makes the 10th different variation...
Linda is like Salomon; if Bob really loved the knife, he would have forfeited, making him the winner.
Going into the store for art supplies be like-
3:30 Hammertime🤣
I REALLY hope Bob either got his Fukunawa straightened out or replaced.
Teddy probably fixed the counter for free and they called it even
No he went and got a mcglecklin
@@dalespurling1614 perhaps he used the macklecklin to straighten it back out
There goes $300 lmao
And a few hundred more for the counter...

That was my favourite bit too. the enthusiasm he has when he says it!
I'm surprised the Japanese writing on the knife is actually correct 😅
“They got a lotta ladles. Ooo I like sayin that”
She’s me on an ADHD attention spree
The way to a mans heart is through his tools
No wonder their family is always broke
Bob: My knife was made with *hammers* Teddy, *HAMMERING* would only make it stronger so
Me: I don't think that's how it works at this point😂😂😂
Bob actually won the nail/tomato challenge (slowed down) 💀
I like how the first thing he does is chop an onion lol.
I didn’t know UA-cam supported 16 bit lol such a great episode subplot from such a great show
Who the hell is Indiana Joe ?

I love how Bob isn’t upset that he’s out 300$ and a nice knife, he’s just genuinely impressed by teddys hammer
