Could you have ran the front semi-active (midbass on the larger channels of the amp and the mids and tweeters from the smaller channels) and then just run the rears from the head unit?
Good morning! I really love your videos. I write you from Spain. My car is a P996 Carrera 3.6 2003. Its has same speakers as you shown in this vid. Could it be possible to sell me the adapters for the 6.5" door woofers? I have no way to produce them
Great video as usual!!! I’m sure there is a good reason you do not but would love to see the final cost of these jobs. I think it’s an interesting aspect to what you guys do and what quality really ends up costing.
I agree! I have installed many systems that replaced Bose OEM, they often have their own separate enclosure. In quality speaker systems, the enclosure is as important as the driver itself for mid/low and low frequencies. There is so much in a door that can vibrate or rattle, a separated enclosure will help prevent this, and a door itself is simply not a proper enclosure Back in the day, I fabricated fiberglass enclosures to fit inside the doors of my Eagle Talon...If I owned this Porsche, it would have an Audiotec Fischer/Brax/Helix/ Match amp/DSP and use the OEM speakers. It would be far less invasive and offer as good or better sq than the mediocre gear installed, and probably cost less. And it would not be Chinese gear
Fantastic content as always, guys. Big fan from the Philippines. 😁
great install guys
You guys are the best
Well done always, surprised owner did not elect to install front camera at same time. Any sound deadening installed?

They've said it before, they have nothing to do with install prices. All of that is handled by Paul the owner.
@@TimmyDfromtheD I still think it would be nice to throw a screenshot up of the cost breakdown.
This is an old video correct?
But anyway, i think all manufacturers should provide a box for mid bass like Porsche does the bass feels tight.
