The guy who plays Rod is really talented! Hysterical actually! I'm auditioning for the role of Rod this weekend. Perusing the internet for many performances to get various interpretations on Rod.... and this one was a great Rod character! Just thot I'd say...
This is such an amazing performance. Thanks to seeing this, the guy who performed Princeton gave me a ton of ideas for what to do for my rendition. We'll be performing this show in July. BTW Jeremy, your performance of Rod is my favorite.
I can tell when a cast is really having fun and I can tell that these guys are having so much fucking fun lol And the "making love song" bit is one of the funnest parts to do because (as I've been told) sense the song is, well loud, you can actually laugh durring it as long as you don't laugh so loud that you disrupt the song lol
This was an outstanding performance! I'm so excited because my theater group is doing it and I got the part of Kate monster! This was so much better than the Broadway, great job!
Can I just say... this is the absolute BEST performance of Avenue Q you can find on the whole internet. Seriously, the actors look so comfortable in their situation, especially Rod and Nicky, and thank God they didn't get a white person for Gary or Christmas Eve, it just comes off as insensitive. Only seen 12 minutes but I'm gonna go on! Great work!
The guy who plays Rod is my favorite! And coincidentally Rod is my favorite character in the musical! They guy who played rod is adorable! Edit: O0O I have been noticed!
You did an amazing job playing Rod! I believe you also played him in the midvale mainstreet theatre to my knowledge. You did an incredible job in both preformances!
This is so AMAZING! I'm glad that I've came here for listen the "If You Were Gay" song, I'm very lucky :) It was a GREAT performance... Thanks for the show and Greetings from México ;)
What a great show you guys you pulled off there! :) I watched a tour performance of this last night which was my favourite production and this was my 2nd favourite production so I really enjoyed it :) I loved the additional visual gags like the Bears and the gun, Lucy and the microphone, Rod being doing the queen of the universe thing and the giant Kate going mad with Princeton in the PROPOSE scene etc, and I also loved how super-dramatic and extra witty that Rod and Nicky were (and I'm glad that Nicky finally kissed him, even if it was on the head lol). Man I loved all of it but this show was especially creative and brilliant, I enjoyed it :)
So I’ve had this cold that is just not going away. I’ve seen different versions of the show, but this was totally awesome! Everybody was really talented and that was probably the best version of. I wish I could go back to college I’ve ever heard!! Everyone did so awesome!! Glad to be reminded my cold will only last for now. Lol!! Awesome work everybody!! Everyone looks like they were just having a blast up there!! And I’m probably not even getting all the jokes because I am severely visually impaired so I can’t technically watch the screen, but the voice acting and all acting in general was awesome!!
I loved it! That's the first version I saw where changes from the original actually made it better. And as everyone already said, the cast is spot on. Thank you so much for uploading :) What are you singing at 1:53:02 instead of "George Bush"?
It was so much fun haha. It was a little awkward the first time we ran it but it kept just getting more and more fun. Thanks for watching and commenting =D
I hate to say it, but this Princeton is a better singer than john tartaglia. This was a fantastic performance, but the only thing I didn't like about it was how they cut down the Money Song.
Omg I love this show so much! :o The story, cast and humor... it’s just perfect! XD Why do I only find out about it now? A bit too late UA-cam recommendations!! XD Thanks for the great performance even though it was long ago ^^ Rod and Nicky are my favs lol
Mivoli thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed this! There is a more recent one that I was in at the midvale Main Street theatre. Should be one of the first to pop up 🥰 you’ll love that one too
@@jeremyheaps6455 Okay cool I watched the version from 2017! And omg that was so high quality and so fun all over again! XD And I watched a couple more versions but the cast in this and the 2017 version were the best! I have to say you play Rod's character just perfectly! XD I'm glad I could talk to you! ^^
great performance! i think i spotted a little mistake tho at 1:25:16 i think she forgot to say "it's German for" before saying "happiness at the misfortune of others" without that, Rod's response doesn't hit as hard.
SenõrdeBeans : I do actually remember which song I used 🥰 I sang “Suddenly Seymor” from the beginning of the song to where Audrey joins in. I did this song in my normal voice, but in a character, If that makes sense? The second time I did this show, I did the same song but in rods voice 🥰
Suzanne Rust - I’m so glad to hear that! I have two on UA-cam, the other one has over a million views and was performed at midvale theatre. I feel that one is the better of my two, but I always love hearing that this one caught eyes and did it’s job haha
@@jeremyheaps6455: I always appreciate those in the theatre business. I did some musicals with a local company myself and had an absolute blast during my time there. 6 different shows over 5 years - My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, Calamity Jane, Oklahoma, Anything Goes and The King and I.
That gun gag with the Bad Idea Bears is probably the most creative and funniest one I've seen.
Ye I was wheezing so much
time stamp??
The man who played Nicky, Trekkie, and The Bear was amazing!
Absolutely
This might be the first “I Wish I Could Go Back To College” I’ve heard where everyone actually blended. Nicely done!
This whole version of the show is by far my favorite ever! You are all so talented and have amazing comedic timing!
Thank you so much! It was a lot of fun, that's for sure. Couldn't ask for a better cast
I think the one uploaded by Jake is better. Better camera quality. Also, Jeremy also plays Rod in that version
This is by far the best Rod and Nicky I've seen.. also Trekkie is by far at his most hilarious here.
Thank you! That's a great compliment! Made my night
Beautiful.
That had to be one of the best interpretations of any Musical ever.
Major Props.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it

This is such an amazing performance. Thanks to seeing this, the guy who performed Princeton gave me a ton of ideas for what to do for my rendition. We'll be performing this show in July. BTW Jeremy, your performance of Rod is my favorite.
I have never seen a better performance of My girlfriend who lives in canada, even on broadway.
That was an amazing compliment, thank you so much! :)
I agree!

I think this is the most emotional version of Avenue Q I've seen.
Completely NAILED this performance.
4 years later, still fantastic.
that woman playing gary coleman is awesome! i love it how she is soooo energetic :D !!
I’ve watch so many versions of this play and it always makes me laugh no matter what 😂
This was an outstanding performance! I'm so excited because my theater group is doing it and I got the part of Kate monster! This was so much better than the Broadway, great job!
Gabbagirl 506 , thanks for your kind words! Where are you doing it? Who are you playing? I wish you the best of luck in your performance! 👍🏻😁
Jeremy Heaps I play Kate monster but we're doing the high school version.
Jeremy Heaps thank you so much!!:)

Hey, thanks man! Really appreciate your kind words! It was one of he best experiences any of we ever had.
Ngl the nicki and rod in this may be better then the originals.
The voice acting for Rod and Nicky is so good!
The guy who plays Rod is my favorite! And coincidentally Rod is my favorite character in the musical! They guy who played rod is adorable!

The Cancernarian Artist : awww shucks. Thank you so much ☺️ ❤️

The person that played Nicky gave him the best voice.

It was a GREAT performance... Thanks for the show and Greetings from México ;)
Thanks man! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This is my favorite musical, and this is my favorite performance of the show. I want to be a member of the cast one day ❤
Taline Banks keep working at it 😊 in doing the show again tonight. I'll post another vid soon
I'm a little young to be in the show, being in middle school, but it brings up important issues and in a funny way.
this is still the best rod i've ever seen
gay lamppost : thank you so much 😊 that means a lot to me
I like how the TV screens are from the original version of Avenue Q.
21:14 Kate Monster saying “Son of a bitch!” just SLAYED the audience 😂

Please pardon the grammatical errors, I rushed my comment lol :)
this Rod kind of reminds me of a Rod from the midvale production of avenue q
Yup 🥰 both are me 😋 the Midvale production was my most recent version of this character
Rod is so funny in this version! Everyone was really great!
Thanks Emma! You made me smile! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Your welcome! :)
I loved this! So much infact that I am trying to create Muppet replicas of Rod and Nicky!
shaw Doxtater I would love to see them once they are done 😊
I saw this at a community theater with my dad. By intermission, my face was sore from laughing.
The voices were so accurate, I honestly thought this was the original Broadway cast! Is it?
Of Cats and Crepes : you’re very kind 🥰 nope, we were all local actors in Utah. Thank you for your kind comparison 💕
Hey, that Rod actor is the same from "Avenue Q - Full Show - Midvale Main Street Theatre".
this is the best 'bad ide bears' I've seen 😂😂😂
This must have sparked a lot of weird ass conversations at home?
I think I loved Rod and Nicky the best in this one! So talented!!

Rod sees Nicky and Ricky Rod: oh sweet suffering Jesus. Ricky and Nicky?.........my cup runneth over..........come on! (runs off)
This is a really amazing performance!
Thanks! I'm glad that you liked it :) we worked very hard and the cast was amazing
amazing job! I loved it!
Thank you :)
53:17 In this performance's version of Fantasies Come True the part before it goes to Kate and Princeton is weirdly wholesome :3
Nice production! Where/who was this?
Loving the camera work

What are you singing at 1:53:02 instead of "George Bush"?

Sounds like "Glenn Beck".
the girl playing kate looks kinda like steph from game theory
The sex scene mustve been so awkward xD
It was so much fun haha. It was a little awkward the first time we ran it but it kept just getting more and more fun. Thanks for watching and commenting =D
Artsy MelonLord THERE'S A SEX SCENE

is nicky, trekkie and blue bad idea bear the same puppeteer? he is so good

Milk shot out my nose for "Internet is for Porn". That's how funny it was.
Especially with that dead-eye stare lol
great performance!
i think i spotted a little mistake tho
at 1:25:16 i think she forgot to say "it's German for" before saying "happiness at the misfortune of others"
without that, Rod's response doesn't hit as hard.
Rod, my gay precious baby!!!
where is this performance?
45:40 LOL
"Feel her boob!" Lol glad you enjoyed it!
What was said at the third "outburst" in For Now?
"Glen Beck" :)
Jesus was from the Middle East.
But was raised in Jerusalem of Jewish descent. More religion than culture
Jesus was a Galileic Jew
who plays gary? holy shit they’re amazing-
I feel like even the musical style of the songs is a sarcastic comment on musicals themselves...
Amazing if you watch any of these the librerals cannot help themselves. 1:53:03
If you can remember, what audition song did you use for your audition?

Trekkie looked good
What was the joke they said was only for now that got a laugh-Glenn Beck?
I want Sesame Street to see this XD
So enjoying this version even though I'm only up to Everyone's A Little Racist so far.

That one girl's puppetry is off. She clearly wasn't trained properly.
Ha ha lol!😀
