I'm only new as a Christian, not yet experiencing too hard troubles... But I easily became cold in God's ministry... This song reminds me of God's faithfulness to me even if I am sinner... I'm 3 years as a Christian now, and I'm 18 years old...
You are 5 years down the road from where you were the day you wrote your comment here. God is faithful, he will direct your steps every day. Just let him know that your desire is to follow him. Ask him to reveal to you his care in a way that you understand. For me, he has kept me from getting rained on now for 7+ years. I know iheis telling me that he is taking care of me.

I oftentimes forget that this world is not all there is to look forward to... Jesus is preparing a place for us and the things that I see are so temporal but the unseen is so eternal. I need to be reminded daily that all I possess in this world is not for me to keep but I need to bless others with the Blessings I have received... after all, we cannot take anything with us! This song is such a sweet and timely reminder of this truth.

I am reminded of my children, they are all grown, but I worry about them and must remember they were borrowed to brighten my life. They belong to God and he cares for them.

This was one of the best renditions of that song I've heard. Gaither & Rambo. Two of the most beloved gospel musicians, writers & singers.
