I found the portion of the video about the Canada Jay very interesting. We would go on fly-in fishing trips out of Armstrong Ontario. One time we dumped some of our left over rice outside our cabin and we had immature Canada Jays and a female Spruce Grouse feeding on it the next morning. Our trips were always at the end of May.
I have really come to love the Canada Jays. They are really cute with their big dark eyes! Your Channel and a couple of others have really re-ignited my love of bird watching. More specifically BritHikesOntario, Badgerland Birding, Bright Eye Birding, Bob Duchesnes, and a couple others like Greg Baker and even Lesley The Bird Nerd. One of the features I love about your videos is when you just show birds with no narration, and I can hear all the birds calling in the background to try and identify just by sound. It's actually very educational just listening. Thanks for sharing - love it all so much!
All the UA-cam channels I watch too! I am friends with the Badgerland Birding guys and we hope to collaborate soon. I was just on their podcast a few weeks ago. And thanks for your kind words about showing the birds without narration and just sound...I really try and record sound in the field but it is not always easy.
Awesome video. Thank you!
Thanks. I always enjoy these virtual "trips".

Thank you Auggie! Yes, they are amazingly cool birds.
