I’ve been travel hacking about 4 years and have 5 cards. I’ve been to Brazil, Ireland, Wales, Guatemala and several US trips. This works very well. Ive had flights canceled and had miles refunded with no problems. I’d only recommend this to folks that can pay the full balances off monthly though. It’s been really fantastic. Thanks for your video. I’ve never used the points for hotels so now I’ll start looking at those.
Well done 😊 Bucket list trips for Sarah & Jake 😎 Good tip to pay for trips to activate the points to use the points for the trip! Strategic planning paid off 👏
i've actually thought about travel hacking but theres so much info out there. i love how you broke this down and even answered questions i had! Antartica sounds so cool! thanks for sharing 😌
Way to go! We have probably received between $7K and $10K in travel benefits in the past several years. I wish I had kept better records. We are planning a trip in a few days that will have three free hotel nights and over $500 from rewards from credit cards. Well, the free hotel nights come with a $49 annual fee on the credit card. Of course, this wouldn't work for someone who is unable to pay their credit cards off each month. You probably address that in the video but I just started watching. :)
Don't get to travel. It's not even close to within a budget no matter how much hacking is done. Just from my view. Anything beyond the price of groceries is expensive, even groceries are expensive, and that's where I'm at in my life. I'm totally here for your travel conversations because I live through other people's experiences and what they share about them.
My husband and I enjoy credit card hacking in general. It's awesome for traveling. 👍😀 You just have to be strategic, intentional, and always pay your balances off in full every month.
I'm a credit card unicorn so travel hacking sounds like a good fit for me. I might not have the credit rating to get a travel credit card yet, but that's a thing I've already been working on.
@@AbundantlyMinimal we find other ways to "travel hack" tho...we set a budget. We always spend less. Rent houses, meal plan, etc. Rebook flights to save, rebook car rentals. The last one we saved hundreds.

This is awesome, Fran! Those are some really cool places!

Yay! I'm so glad it was helpful, Mariela! There is tons of info out there but I wanted to break it down as simple as possible!
TYSM For this amazing info! Def gonna get a travel card (or 2) now! Super helpful!
Yay! I am so glad to hear this, Andrea!

That's exciting! Have a great trip!
Clear plans are always good.

I completely agree, Rene!

What cards do you recommend
Check the document in the description!
I wonder if there's a credit card for the Eurostar....
Definitely something to research!
I could use travel credit card to pay for train journeys to the airport since I can't drive.
Also a great idea!
Great❤! Can I repost your all videos to the platform named Gan Jing World, which is full of clean valuable videos?
No thanks!
@@AbundantlyMinimal No problem, I understand.
Thank you for your reply. Have a good day.
All the best,
Emma
You had me until the credit card thing... I don't use credit cards.
No worries! In that case, travel hacking won't be a good fit for you.

Absolutely! We did the same things with our past travels, especially when we were both on teacher salaries!
@@sarahlockridge7879 those are all fantastic things to do, I do these things too when I travel.
