What’s written in green box is, the vehicle have quite hard spring as 18kg/mm in front and 16 for rear and height of the vehicle is quite low. However, the tuner managed to have the suspension work well so that the car can maneuvered bumpy Touge course thanks to his experience in real race field.
It would be the low end of the cars potential. The M50-powered E36 could do very well in the touge 300 or even the touge max. It wouldn't be cheap though.
beefcakemonsta Plenty of fully stripped cars compete in the touge challenge. Stripping the BMW is probably the cheapest upgrade for the greatest performance increase. The weight of a factory e36 is about the same as a factory S15 (1460 vs 1450 kg). The e36 can definitely be a serious contender at the Gunma cycle sports center, I don't think it's too heavy at all :)
greensp4rk used to have a e36 2.0l straight six. maybe its just me thinking that its heavy. or the power of a 2.0l is rubbish so it won't pick up that fast.
I think the Altezza(IS200 in Eu) has straight cut gears. This kind of gears sounds like this. Google and see if the sound is the same. I think there are straight cut gears in that transmission.
There's a small sprung vent valve right in front of the shifter on the Altezza gearbox, they made the cap over it the shape of a bell. All I can think is it's that rattling and ringing with the engine/drivetrain vibration right at the same frequency the camera gear liked. I put a dod of silicone on mine to stop it from being able to rattle freely.
The discipline in drift kings feet work priceless

what are peoples thoughts on an e36 325is for the touge 200?

good chassis, but at the same heavy, its gonna struggle on corners. in touge its all about weight and suspension, power comes last.

beefcakemonsta A tuned e92 m3 ran almost as quick as the hks supercharged arvou s2000 on the touge.. and the e92 is heavier than the e36.

The shifter or whatever that was that was rattling in the Altezza made my ears bleed.
