i remember i was hooked on playing this machine at a roller rink back in 1970, it was only a nickel a game even though there were dime machines too at that time. the manual ball load was pretty cool where you can play one ball or several at a time.
I'm just recently retired and have decided to buy a pin for myself as I haven't had one of my own in about 30 years. I just ran across your video on Miss Annabelle and have a short story about this one: When I was around 11 years old (1960) a local cafe in my small hometown had Miss Annabelle as their only pinball. Us kids would shove nickels in that thing constantly. One feature that you mentioned about it is that when her fan was completely exhausted you would get 3 replays. The Miss Annabelle that I used to play was set for (I think) 20 replays. What's funny about that is that when school was out we would rush to get to the cafe to see if her fan was close to going away so we would have a better chance of getting all of the free games. On the flip side, some times it would take quite a few games and $ to get close to that point and I(we) would have to quit for the day knowing that someone else would probably come along and get the replays without much playing time, we did all of the 'work'. Anyway, too bad you sold this one as I would have loved to have this one to play during my retirement. Video game just don't compare to a good pin. Thanks so much for posting this video.
Hey Joe! My girlfriend's father in Atlanta GA has this same machine. The plastic of the fan has warped and the machine needs some touching up. Who did you have fix up your machine? We would love some help fixing his up as well. Thank you!
