Any tips for avoiding any toe hold / footlock attacks against the non-hooking foot in the early stages of playing DLR? I’ve seen other players like Gianni Grippo keep the foot inside the hip, for example.
What follow ups do you do if as you invert you cannot attach to the hip because they’re building distance? Often when I go Bolo or Kiss of the Dragon I can sit their hips down to the mat but they create space to prevent the hip grip and they’re so far away wrestle ups aren’t an option. Great video would love to see more NoGi bolo content!
Smooth. I always admired your Jiu-jitsu Danny.
Great vid Dan!
