i dont lose needles from my hornwort either, in kind of amazes me when i hear of this happening to others. my mbuna also eat excess hornwort , my red zebra Colony makes short work of it. very nice eric thanks a lot ,I've fallen behind badly on my maintenance so it looks like thats what ill be doing today, its a great feeling once i get it done. have a great day my friend🙂👍

@@FishmanEricRussell Oh we’ve had it for many years and we’ve done a lot of videos on it just not lately because we’ve been waiting to redo it with all these other projects. It’s the centerpiece of our home, but we got most of it done. We just have to finish it up over the next couple of weeks.
Great video, your water change system is great, wish I had thought of that years ago, I get hornwort by the fistful as well in the tanks I have it in . Definitely have to trim them down or every tank would be full😂 Thanks for sharing 😁👍

Any floater will do, that has leaves or roots for the fry to hide in. Then I'd have to get my showers the conventional way lol.
