I think a really cool idea for a one off event would be if all the numbers around the board were all in different positions. For example, the 20 would take the place of 11, the 19 would take the place of 5 . I think it would add a whole new dimension to the game with players wanting to use other areas of the dart board
Let's get real. Although if any of these were used today, there would be some confusion, it would also be good to see something different to the classic 501 we see all year all the time
The PDC was being very innovative with darts by using quadro boards and equal legs, and also using 1001 points. This goes to show how the PDC had a lot of innovations that made the game grow.
@Darts World I'd love to see a cricket tournament brought back. Maybe it's because I'm rubbish, but I've always preferred cricket. It's got that mix of skill with tactics.
taylor actually says in one of his books that most players didnt really bother with the quad segment but that he played for it all the tine (as you'd expect)
Would be fun to watch if they did a Quattro board tournament once again. Imagine someone hitting a 7 darter
80-80-80/80-80-51-bull. Is there another way to get a 7 darter
@@x-latetv-x6816 that is the only way double-out. Master-out are more possibilities
@@alexstadler269 what's master out?
@@x-latetv-x6816 when it is allowed to checkout with a double or a triple (or in this case with a quatruple) you call it „master-out“
@@alexstadler269 ok thanx

I like the double in tournament. I would be fun to have another special tournament every year.
A really fun game would be if all these rules were combined together. Nice video 👍
I was lucky to play against Jocky Wilson in a local exhibition and that was one leg upto a 1001.

Twwoooooo hundred and fortyyy!!!
Well enjoyed this video 👍 great stuff
Love your videos lately mate , I know someone who has 1 of these actually
Cheers!
Wasent the Rule at the WC of Darts 2010, that you had the Darts if you won the leg. But I may remember that wrong
Just checked, the team that the lost the leg got to throw first in the next leg!
3rd leg its the loser to Throw First
Didn't they hold a cricket tournament once?
Yes, in 2010. This is on my to-do list!

Surely a quadro just makes the treble basically non-existent barring the odd checkout

Yes, looking back at the videos available many just played as normal on the treble
you cant checkout 210.
Q20 =80
Q20 =80
Bull =50
It all adds to 210
