Thanks for the video! You're right - no one else shows the actual steps. Question if you remember: did the lines go between the exhaust and the motor mount? or were you able to fish them between the mount and block? Mine are in the 1st way and i'm worried the exhaust will melt them...
@@illig02good question..I don't remember. Straight off the oil block, there's not many places they can go. The exhaust isn't heating it up more than it can cool down, but I don't have long tubes.
Thank you! Be prepared to extend the oil temp sensor wires. I forgot to mention that. I found the plug at Napa auto parts. I wrapped the wires with kapton tape for added heat protection from the exhaust. It's a tricky fit but it works. I recommend installing with a lift or quick jack. I just replaced my temp sensor yesterday actually, I'll be uploading that video soon.
@@yz250ftony Finally wrapped up this project! This was a pain in the ass to mount and fit. I ended up getting an improved racing manifold that changed the oil feed and return ports around to fit the ls7. I was able to use the same an hoses but trimmed one to fit and converted it to a straight fitting. I also wrapped the an lines themselves in heat reflector and the bottom half of the headers with lava wrap to help with heat mitigation around the pan. Happy to be out riding in the vette again! I tried to list a link of the car on bring a trailer but i guess my previous comment never got posted / flagged.

Just bought one for my C5 with an LS7. Hopefully I don't have clearance issues. Any other tips after installing this? Thanks and nice vette!
Thank you!
