Today We Will Be Flying Onboard A EL AL Israeli Airlines Boeing 777-200 From Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) To Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV)

The Flight Was OK The Service Was Average And The Actual Experience Was Also Average But The Points Here Are Lost Due To The Fact That The Cabin And IFE System Are Extremely Outdated And Likely Havent Been Renovated Since The Early 2000s Along With The Fact That The Actual IFE System Didn't Work All Flight Long Which Didn't Make Things Any Better And The Seat Was Also Very Stiff And Uncomfortable
For These Reasons Points Are Removed
As Of Now EL AL Is The Only Airline Which Operates A Direct Flight From Bangkok To Tel Aviv So There Is No Competition That Can Beat EL AL
Also Generally EL AL Is A Great Airline So It Was Very Disappointing To See That In 2024 They Still Fly Planes That Look Like They Haven't Been Renovated In Years
Also This Flight Reviews Footage Was Not Filmed By Me (RBSpotter) But By My Brother. I think it’s fair to point out that due to the current situation in Israel with the war it is possible that elal is using their better planes for the more popular routes that more people are using daily as opposed to Thailand that isn’t such a popular route. They actually did renovate and refurbish the 777 during Covid so thats a possibility.
It's a very popular route. But there is no competition unlike to the USA.
Legroom is pretty good. And now quicker flight as they fly over Saudi Arabia. Amenity kit looks better than the Air France one in Business. Main course for dinner and breakfast are hidden?

כן ממה שהבנתי אל על שידרגו את כל מטוסי ה777 שלהם אז זה הפתיע אותי שאת המטוס הזה ספציפית השאירו ככה אבל מעבר לזה הטיסה הייתה אחלה

חשבתי שכל ה777 שודרגו לא הבנתי למה הם מחכים.

Some of the 777 are now converted to 787 cabin
I once had the same issue on a elal 777 and the stewardess took my seat number and a few minutes later my screen came back on
I see they're flying around the Arabian peninsula again, right? If the flight time was over 10 hours.
You do see the wide variety of planes at the major international hubs in the US.
They are phasing out those planes, so not investing in their interiors. You'd have a better experience in one of their B787
Yes due to the war they are flying around the Arabian peninsula which increases the flight time
In the US you don't see Asian airlines very often or other exotic airlines seen in Thailand or the rest of Asia and EL AL are actually bringing back the 777s into service after temporarily phasing them out due to Covid so that's what surprised me the most about seeing this airplanes interior especially considering this is a 10 hour flight to Thailand and not a 2 hour flight to Europe where the IFE wouldn't matter as much
@@rbspotter In the meantime, I saw some of the B777 interiors were actually updated to match the 787 fleet and it is specified when you book a flight. They do plan to phase them out though.

elal a toujours été une compagnie de merde je vois que rien ne change malgré le changement de propriétaire il faut etre maso pour continuer a voler avec elal quand maintenant au depart de tel aviv il y a les meilleurs compagnies du moyen orient a savoir étihad airways gulf air et emirates
