+Squishmellow 3 In Rhythm Heaven’s Rockets mini game, you have to count a certain number of notes (for example, the cone counts off 5 notes) then hit the button on what you think is note zero, as if blasting off on zero. In this video, I noticed notes thrown in between the notes you’re *supposed* to count, to make it flow better with the background audio. This sort of threw off my mental timing.
@@squishmellow3 add the fact that all of the rockets except for the red one had the same timing in the original game, even thought they have different countdowns
@@ScaredSackless4566 once in my schools cooking class we were given a booklet to fill out about safety and shit and one of the things was: How do you pass a knife? A) pass it handle first B) THROUGH IT ACROSS THE ROOM C) pass it blade first Needless to say we all had a chuckle about that one
I love the creative liberties you took with the timing of the rocket and their cues. This kind of pseudo-kaizo remix is my absolute favorite. I love that the visuals completely distract you without just simply obscuring vision. This highlights counter-melodies I never knew existed in this song. Absolutely fantastic remix!
Occasionally there comes a remix that makes me wish for a "practice" session. I actually can't tell if the rhythm of the party rockets varies in this video, or if it's the same timing just being used in really tricky ways.
*This* is what Launch Party should have been. The original is ridiculously easy (especially for a 6-X) and, outside the red rocket, all of them share a 3-count. In here, blue and red shares a 4-count while white and green shares a 3-count, with rockets being faster, more interconnected and with a lot more visual distractions. While the bells can be a little tricky to get in this one, a little adjustment to that would make this minigame just about perfect for the game. *Superb* (You got a like!)
So just to confirm, you not only took a bop of a song, timed everything so it fits perfectly and flung the rockets all over the dang screen like a creative genius of a maniac, but according to the description you remade the *entire* game in Sony Vegas and still have the *audacity* to apologise for reusing a section or two? Disgusting. This is a masterpiece and you will enjoy the pedestal we put you on. I swear I'm liking and subscribing and had I the ability I'd subscribe twice. "Hopefully it's not too boring." Despicable.
This is seriously the coolest way I've ever seen Launch Party used in anything. I think some of the cues wouldn't be incredibly intuitive unless you know the song already, but given how well tuned it is to the song in question I think that gets a pass
Hey tim, for launch party, the blue, green, and white rockets all go on a count of 1,2,3. Red still goes on a 1,2,3,4. In screwbot factory, if you don’t already have a perfect, for the grey bots, the pattern is 1(grab),2(hold),3(release),4(Wait) the white ones are 1(grab),2(release),3(Wait),4(Wait)

I don't know if you like this or not, but I have ideas how to play like following it: Phone users: 1. Clap on anywhere like clap hands to launch the rocket 2. Make your finger follow the box(Just one is enough(You don't have to turn your finger to follow the box's turning)) Pc users: 1. Press spacebar to launch the rocket 2. Million Dollar Idea I can't follow through on. Take a lot of these custom remixes (and original games for that matter) and turn these into functioning modcharts for clone hero, charting "a" taps to green, "b" to red, and swipes to open notes.
launch party straight up blew my mind
edit: did not realize launch party was the only game
rly
lmao
It’s all just rockets just rockets
The moving of the rocket pad makes it hard though
I'm glad you didnt realize because that edit makes this comment 10x funnier
I like how the cues-both true and false-are tuned to the song. The false cues, however, make it hard to gauge when the bell-type rockets will launch.
Hold up, false cues???
I never actually played rhythm heaven despite me loving rhythm games so idk
