`How do I establish the ELM327 has the 25k80 chipset? I downloaded the D4A SW and Renault db. Offline this seems to work ok and screens seen on various info videos appear as expected. I connected to the car (Smart For4 W453) but there was little to no activity and the lower screen in D4A SW didn't populate as observed in the installation video. I checked the activity in the cmd prompt background screen and saw after every ECU code there was ''Çan Line -1' or message related to items not available. My guess is the ELM doesn't have the right chipset but have no idea how to test or establish it without breaking the unit open (prefer not to do in case I can return it!)
Outside of opening the device up to have a look it should gave stated in the device description on ordering if it has that chipset. Alot of Chinese versions say but don't actually do. The link is the description is the one I used. Price is good and it works. Check to make sure that device drivers for the elm device are installed on your computer. There are generic packs for them online. Google elm32 driver packs.

Talisman 2019 with stock halogens, I did put Led´s in, and right now the car-computer have cancelled power to the left dipped beam, and it´s still no power when I reinstalled the stock halogens. so, need to get power back to dipped beam left side , how? and how to "tell" the car that I now have Led´s ? and then reinstall the new Led´s
I got the Database from same place, paid for it - but when I connect DDT to my W453 (with the TomTom satnav system) it says no ECU found for the Nav system - I saw others on UA-cam activating Android Auto with DDT & want to do the same - but I tried both database 04/2017 & 08/2017 & no ECU ?? Thanks for any help 👍
How much time does your PC needs to scan all the ecus? i have done the whole process as it should and when i connect my pc to the car, the scanning takes almost 15 minutes and when it finishes, doesn't show me the connected ecus on the second screen. What am i doing so wrong?
My onen is relayively old. Runs windows 10 but only has 4 gb ram and a standard cpu for the age. Do you have the renault database Or just the software? Also the elm32 device was the drivers installed?
@@mvautomotive7092 I think I have the drivers installed. My pc does not gets a cd to install it. I also used a MacBook Pro with windows inside and the same. It takes many minutes to read the Ecus and then nothing. From where can I find the right drivers? I have ELM 327 usb v 1.5 with cable.
@@spirosrousounelos4523 try running the software in demo mode without connecting. It's the third option on the initial boot screen. You should then be able to click through the folders and subfolders like normal using the ecu database?
Is that charging the battery to only 85%? There is a code for changing the charging power so that you use the full 7kw as opossed to the factory set 4.5kw?

I'm happy to pay for SW or info of this nature but not happy to risk a PC crash, virus etc. Does anybody know of a safe site for the db?
Yes, I have an RS 250 and would like to code out the airbags (its now a track car) and need to turn off the airbag and spanner light on the dash, Can that be done with this software - Thanks
@@mattgower4984 as they are not renualt items I do not think the software will register them. You best option that works is to use good quality air bag resisters. You can get them for about £8 for generic ones or Recarro sell them for about £30. I know i would go for name brands. Hope that helps?

There is a new 2020 database. If you google ddt4all 2020 database github, you should find a download available.

Yes at the time of producing it was the most upto date list. I believe there is a newer one but this still works for me.

There are bose hidden features and you can remove start stop. I will go through the functions and have a look.

Try disconnecting the battery. That tends to reset the car and may reset the warning.

I have electric 2018 453. I want be able to charge only to 85% but t can’t see any settings. I wonder if can change settings with DDT4ALL.

It's open-source software. You just need to add a database for the car and a £20 usb adaptor.
