Andy Irons wasn’t a pretender, he was a competitor, he surfed strong, was a freak of nature. He made Kelly rise to a whole new level. That’s what people can do to you. They can make you stronger because they try to be stronger. But they respected each other. God-given talent can be harvested and you can do amazing things.
