Atsumu is honestly my favorite Haikyuu character. He's so freaking charismatic, and i love it when he just ha a huge, dumb smile on his face when he plays. Not to mention he's voiced by the legendary Mamoru Miyano.

It's been a year since this season aired and Atsumu saying "because I'm a setter" still makes me tear up. Kudos to Mamo for making it 100x more emotional than it already is. The Miya twins will forever be one of my most favorite duos. Their story and dynamic just stays with you. It's amazing.

Yeah I kinda agree, I can’t stand ep. 15 at all so I always skip that and read its part in the manga lol. Part 2 especially was affected by the pandemic so the animation in the first half was really shaky, the second half (starting from ep. 20) got better though.

I like both the old and new art style and as you said, this match was shown superbly in the manga, which the new art style follows now. The problem here isn’t art style, it’s animation. There was a staffing change and one of the animators was fired. Part 2 was released during the pandemic (the animation in part 1 is still pretty good and consistent, part 2 is the problematic one).
i always think that miya atsumu's serves are extremely killers. imagine we'd get the animation for atsumu the same way they animated oikawa and ushiwaka's serves.
