Whenever I see Pikmin players saying “Pikmin 4 was too easy”, I’ll point them to this series to remind them what it’s like for newcomers.
It’s like of course it’s easy you know the past games and all the enemies
Still, they really should have a harder mode. A new game plus or something.

I love the fact that since Choc doesn’t even have a 100% on any area, so a bunch of enemies and pikmin he should’ve found thousands of months earlier is now new to him.

Choc, we all hate Louie. He put the company he works for into debt and blamed on something else in Pikmin 2. In fact, the final boss of Pikmin2 is being controlled by him. He literally tries to kill Olimar and his boss. He steals all your food in Pikmin 3. This game needs no explanation.
LOUIE! WHY THE HELL DID YOU CRASH THE SHIP INTO AN UNKNOWN PLANET FOR THE 5TH TIME?! because funni
Also worth noting that P4 explains that he joined Hocatate Freight *specifically* so that he could maybe be able to steal a shipment of golden pikpik carrots and eat them, bankrupting the company.
The only “good” thing he’s done is making very detailed food entries that make me hungry.

the fact that he only got pink and whites at the last zone of the game and that he didn't get a single onion aside from the basic 3 amazes me

There's actually a bit more to the game, but it requires talking to Olimar back at base camp
Louie is definitely the closest to a central antagonist to Pikmin because he likes to cause problems on purpose. Spoilers for Pikmin 2, but that game's plot has you repaying Hocotate Freight's debt after Louie supposedly ran into a space bunny that ate a crate of Golden Pikpik Carrots he was supposed to deliver. A secret cutscene reveals that he ate the carrots and made up the story
That's not even mentioning his rescue being the crux of 2's second half, only to end with him arguably controlling the final boss.
Or him stealing all your food after you rescue him in 3.

@@ShadwSonic In his defense in Pikmin 3, from his point of view, he thought he was kidnapped since his suit's forced sleep mode was active during the boss fight when you rescued him. Other than that, yeah he's a hassle and the only redeeming quality he has is his Piklopedia entries basically being cooking recipes

ive been watching scruffy's playthrough for a long time and it now pains me when they dont 100% the areas
@@GGwtf69I always figured that I'd 100% them after i beat the game, like I do with most other games, but apparently pikmin fans prefer to 100% every new area
Just remember to actually do the rest of the game there is one final cave and olimars shipwrecked adventure required to unlock the cave after beating olimars shipwrecked adventure you can challenge the final cave
And the dandori trials after you beat olimar’s shipwrecked adventure

Hey choc, theres also a side adventure if you talk to olimar, plus oatchi can get a new ability from him
The Charging Horn and the Oatchi Rush (on top of Oatchi) actually do more damage than just throwing the Pikmin (besides Purples)

i'm kind of surprised you didn't have any trouble with the gloom phase (the final one) of the ancient sirehound considering you had trouble with like pretty much everything else and the gloom phase is one of the hardest parts of the entire game

Honestly, I love watching Choc play this, and I hope we get to see him try to 100% the game. There’s still so much more to the game, and I really want to see him play it all.

Please do Olimar's shipwreck tale before concluding the PIKMIN 4 series Choc. It's basically like playing PIKMIN 1 in PIKMIN 4. Such a great throwback! I flipped when I got to it! Collecting parts to rebuild a ship is so much fun! Fruits and treasures are still cool, but don't compare to the spaceship parts! Also please play PIKMIN 1-3 next Choc!

Dandori battle tip: if the opponent has more than 10 dandorium than you use a suprise bomb. If theres no bomb R E S E T
Dandori battle tip 2: the first thing you wanna do in a dandori battle is get the nearest flower with number things. when you have 10 pikmin then you start killing the enemies and move the bodies under the onion.
Dandori battle tip 3: rock pikmins are op for killing enemies. White pikmin are op for moving treasures. Glow pikmin are op for being immune to everything. Winged pikmin are op for being useless.
I love to entertain myself with the theory that the Ancient Sirehound isn’t even a space dog- it’s just an actual Earth dog, or at least a very distant descendent of one.

I was hoping to see Choc explore that one other non-Waterwraith cave in Serene Shores (you know the one) to see his reaction to the boss. 😔
When you finished that cave with zero pukmen and killed the boss.. I literally screamed "HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!"

You're not alone in your animosity towards Louie, Choc. Louie has become such a pathetic degenerate leading up to this game. He was responsible for the events of Pikmin 2, he was nowhere close to helpful in Pikmin 3, and here he is, alongside the final boss. I personally can't stand Louie.
