You "guys," is just me. There is no group of people funneling in footage or employees for anything you see on here. I run everything on this channel from the flying, filming, editing, uploading and replying to comments by myself. And I have done so since I started this channel in 2015. I'd love to fly overseas more. I really would. Traveling internationally is my favorite type of travel. I do the best I can to feature as much international travel as possible. In 2022 I featured flights to and from Iceland, Germany, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, Micronesia, and The Marshall Islands. But, the fact of the matter is that it's expensive to fly overseas on flights that have good times. I.e., not flights that leave JFK at 9:00pm and arrive at 5:00am and are in complete darkness the whole time. Anyway, I run this channel by myself including financially. And frankly, I lost money on every single international trip last year. And I can only pump so much of my own money into this. So, I have to be selective on how I spend my budget every month. Believe me, if I had Sam Chui or Noel Philip's budget you'd see a lot more international flights on here. I do what I can with the tight budget I have every month. So I appreciate everyone who watches!
Another amazing vid! Love it man. Oh yeah! Great insta post too! Got a good chuckle about u holding your phone with recording etc lol. Amazing brother!
Another incredible video! I have never flew into Seattle during the day. Did not realize how scenic the area is with all the water ways. Just curious, is your UA-cam channel your full time gig or do you have another job that allows you to take these incredible videos? Great Job!
It is at the moment. I've been attempting to make it work as a full time gig for just over a year now. I'll be honest. It's not easy though. UA-cam revenues can fluctuate a lot, and frankly, at the moment half of my monthly views now are coming from Shorts. And I make way less on those views compared to views on my regular content. So, I'm having to spend a lot less this year than I did last year. Last year I took United's Island hopper, ANA's A380, and I spent two full weeks in Europe with my Iceland and then continental Europe trips. I'm having to be a lot more creative and frugal at the moment as my revenues right now are less than half of what I was bringing in last year. So, it is my full time gig, but it's a constant, tightly budgeted, struggle. I sure enjoy it though!
@@sla31 It's cool that you can do what you enjoy. Appreciate the honest feedback on making it on UA-cam. You got skills and talent and will make it to million+ subscribers!
Yes, I travel with two 20,000 mAh battery packs and I charge while filming. But only while cursing. Because it gets cold around the windows that helps keep the camera cool. If you try to charge while taking off or landing, you lose that cold air around the windows and it will overheat.
Both haha. I fly a lot, but I do have a bit of a backlog from flights last year that I'm also still trying to post. I took 186 flights last year. With my upload schedule and uploading 3 new full flights per week, I only need 156. So, I ended up with about 30 extra, or 10 weeks worth haha.
WOWOWOWOW!! Super-Awesome views!! Good view of Lopez Island. Good view of Anacortes, Burrow and Allan Islands, GREAT views of Whidbey Island!! Good view of Marrowstone and Indian Islands. Good view of Foulweather Bluff. Good view of the Hood Canal Bridge. Good view of Sunlight Beach and Useless Bay. Good view of Juanita Bay. Good view of Kirkland. Good view of Magnuson Park. Hey, there's my swimming spot! Good view of Hunts Point and Medina. Yes, there's Bill Gates' house!! And Jeff Bezos's house!! Good view of Seward Park. They still have first growth trees there. Good view of Boeing Field. If it had been clear along the BC coast line, you would've had spectacular views of the Coast Mountains and of the humungous ice fields and probably of Mt. Waddington, the highest peak along the Coast Mountains and one of the highest mountains in BC. People come from all over the world just to climb it. Now, it's time for me to rest up form the 1 hour jet lag. :)
@@sla31 The Ha-Iltzuk Icefield is HUGE. It's literally 10 times larger by area than the Columbia Icefield in the Canadian Rockies, but very few people ever go to this one. The Silverthrone Icefiled is nearly as large. If the skies are clear, you should be able to see both from the plane of you're going between SEA and SE AK.
I would love to do that. At the moment, UA-cam ad revenue being down in 2023, ticket prices, and inflation is kind of putting a damper on some of my big international trips.
The date really doesn’t matter. I mean, this was filmed in 2022, but released in 2023. The point is that I don’t allow people to re-post my videos without my permission.
No, if they said 8:15 in the video it would've been PM. This flight was on the summer solstice, I.e., the longest day of the year, so that's why it'd still be light in seattle at 8:15pm.
@@billyburleson6238 yeah I have to fly a lot to make sure I don’t run out of footage. So sometimes flights sit in the wings for awhile before I get them posted. This was one of those 😁. It definitely isn’t light at 8:15pm in Seattle this time of year.
The mountains during takeoff were incredible.

Another fantastic full-flight video! For longer flights, (3+ hrs) do you charge the device whilst recording?

@@sla31 ahh, okay. That makes sense. I plan on filming a full-flight video from MIA-DOM on the Envoy E175LR this summer. Thanks!
I see Whidbey Island at around 1:21:20
