Being mesmerized by a great player is an awesome reason to get into playing the trumpet. Just don't expect to be as good as him immediately, because your hopes will be extinguished and you might not want to keep at it. Focus on the fundamentals, do long tones, develop your tone, and you'll be a great player
My mother make me play the flute when I was kid. At that time and now I don't like flute but that was easy to play. But now I like the trumpet. it's really hard to make sounds. Also my lip has a kind of muscle memory for flute. I think it's not good for trumpet.
I started play Trumpet at age 45 and still going on.Don't give up, keep practising.
When my best friend died I played this at the funeral. It was a different arrangement but this is beautiful

I have to put this because it’s eating me up so much and I just can’t take it anymore. I’m in high school and I finally got my first girlfriend. I love her so much but we both got into colleges far away from each other. On top of this I want to become a surgeon. So if me and her continue our relationship, we may have to have a relationship that is 13 years of mostly long distance relationship. I love her so much and I think about her all the time. I want to be with her more than anything, but I don’t want her to be unhappy by bearing through this with me. This song makes me think of our upcoming prom. I’m sure that it will be a really fun time, but it may be the last thing I do with her. I don’t know what to do, but I knew I had to get this off my chest somewhere.
