Hyenas Anthem was written and perform by LawdGad and produced by Djassassin. Hyenas Anthem was created to highlight LawdGad's team movement called "Wild Hyenas". This song has a similar concept to another one of LawdGad's song called "Lift it up" so it could be considered has "Lift it up" part 2. In this song there is a mixture of different vibes, such as gangstar, ladies and dancing.
This song has three verse with different flows. The first verse highlights the gangstars. The second verse highlights the females (badgyal) and the third verse highlighting the dancers. This song will have your head moving from start to finish. "Hyenas Anthem" was created on the "Bell Riddim" which has a compilation of songs from numerous of artists mainly based in the UK. LawdGad's unique high pitch sound made the "Hyenas Anthem" one of the stand out sound on the riddim.
The official music video for Hyenas Anthem was created to enhanced the lyrics of the song. The music video has scenes from both Jamaica and the UK, to show that the hyenas has strength from bout countries. The music brought life and energy to the song which can potentially bring success to this production. These hardy beasts are skilled hunters that will take down wildebeest or antelope. They also kill and eat birds, lizards, snakes, and insects.
In an increasingly overpopulated Africa, hyenas and humans come into frequent contact. In fact, the Maasai people of Kenya and Tanzania actually leave their dead to be consumed by hyenas. However, these intelligent and bold animals will raid food stores and crops and are blamed for many livestock and even some human deaths. In some areas they have been heavily hunted as destructive pests. The idea of the Wild Hyenas clan was brought to the forefront by Uptop In 2021. At the point LawdGad had just finished his first year has a professional recording artist.
At first LawdGad didn't grasp the idea of being called Hyenas because he didn't knew what hyenas were at that point in time, but he knew he needed to create a movement in order to bring more energy to his career. Nevertheless LawdGad did some research on Hyenas and he came up with his own meaning and belief of what Wild Hyenas stand for. Supporters of LawdGad started to gravitate to the name hyenas and to this date is it a growing movement in the dancehall music industry.
