My mother used to cook this but instead of besan she used some dal to make katlees after soaking grinding and steaming dal. Rest of the recipe is same. But that is a lengthy process. Today I saw this recipe and tried as I did not have any vegetables. But I put the besan mix in the microwave and cut small pieces then fried them a little. Believe me it came out super fast and tasty
