Sambhavna and Avinash, Amita used to do a lot of work. Your house was looked after by her and your dogs were looked after by her. If you think she wasn't doing much then why are you stressed about her leaving??? In The West people don't have the luxury of house help. Mostly both partners work full time, attend to house chores, look after their children including school drop off and pick up and at the same time look after the family pet/pets. If you are worried about your weight, then do some work around the house. You will lose weight faster.
Emergency or whatever be the reason, just call back or drop a msg thats not such a big task.. either from Amitas phn or someone elses. This is common sense that one shud inform their employer watever b the reason, and not take their employer for granted and Amita has been working with them from a very very long time. We all inform our employers in case our leave gets extended or adhoc or abrupt leaves. I am sure the entire dynamics of their house must have been affected and this is the 2nd time. I think @Sambhavna u shud start looking for other options instead of Amita.
Please have two househelps… One should stay permanently at your house and one should come and do the daily household chores… Split the salary between both of them… Never ever depend on one person
honestly speaking i feel household work n 3 pets must be workload for her, not only her but it could be anyone . so u need to hire 2 maids one only for household n one for pet . cause these days even if u hire someone for babysitting or even for a toddler they say they will either do babysitting or household but not both. so think over it just a opinion i have this personal opinion , n this time amita has not carried enough clothes so might ne their is some genuine problem n she will surely respond.

Sambhavna, I wanted to add another perspective for you on Amita - * I have lived for decades outside India, and we have no house help. We do everything ourselves, from cooking, cleaning, taking care of dogs, taking care of children - on top of a demanding full-time job. * I see any kind of house help as a big privilege and a big bonus. And I am very grateful for that. * If I feel overworked at work, no matter how much my salary is I will quit. I could also quit for any other reason - family needs me, I feel burned out, I am tired of the same work, I need a new challenge, etc. * My employer has no control and no hold over me. It is my choice to do what I want with my life. In India, I have noticed that house help is seen as a birthright. Yes, you treated Amita well (as you should). Everyone deserves to be treated respectfully and with dignity. But Amita is the master of her own life. It is possible that taking care of 4 dogs, cooking, cleaning and various other tasks at home took a toll on her. It is possible that she feels guilty for quitting a "well-paying" job, and good employers like you. Which is why she cannot say no to you, and does not want to take your call. At the end of the day, it is Amita who decides what is right for her. I have learnt that the best way to deal with such situations is to be thankful for what Amita did for your family and move on and find someone else. It is only Amita who knows what is good or bad for her. No one else can speak for her. And as many others have said, find 2 house helps so that the burden is shared between 2 people.

I completely agree with Sambhavna - how can there be pressure on Amita when she has knowingly taken up a job in this household? We all have all have to honour the tasks, especially the ones we are earning from. Also there is no question of rich and poor - there is no exploitation here. Every case is individual - there is transparency on this vlog channel and I for one have noticed, Amita has complete freedom to say what she wants to do or not do - there are many instances when S ends up doing the work even when Amita is around. By switching her phone off she is being irresponsible to the people who rely on her.

If you are asking the viewers to say if Amita is right or wrong, we can't say that because we don't know her side of the story. We are seeing and hearing what you tell on the vlog. How different it is from Amita's POV how will we know? First of all she didn’t bad mouth her. She literally is expressing the betrayal she is feeling. amita’s situation may be serious or something else could be the reason. she was with them for such a long time, and its not the first time she has switched off her phone or something. If u all watch the vlogs completely, you see sam only saying that she wants amita to clarify things out and expects nothing more. And please this is literally the bare minimum you can expect from someone who u treated as your own family. Amita Might be in some situation however in previous vlogs sam clearly mentioned how she picks up everyone else’s calls except theirs. So somewhere down the line it is a bit sketchy and unexpected from amita.

I do my household chores as it keeps me fit . U will also loose weight if u do household chores. It's the best form of exercise. Gym jane ki jarurat nahi padti . Aap se jitna ho sake ghar ka kaam karo. Body parts move hote rehte hai aur calcium bhi sahi bana rehta hai body mein.

I believe we're only seeing one side of the story where Sambhavna is saying that we don't have much work and that we're paying well. She probably told Amitha the same thing. However, Amitha knows well the amount of effort required to handle this workload. If an employer doesn't value your work and is egotistical enough to suggest they could hire two people instead, we should look beyond what Sambhavna and Avinash are presenting to us. We might not know the full picture, as we're only hearing their perspective.
The least Amita could have done is INFORM, you don’t want to come or you need a longer break, just INFORM. Don’t left Sam in hanging whether Sam is good boss or not. Period.
The amount of work that the maid does is pure exploitation....generally we have 2 to 3 maids to do different activities..one for cleaning another for cooking etc....which world r u guys in...and making such a big issue of paying her so much....not done guys. Because I am a working woman, I realize very well that sometimes my heart doesn't want me to go to work, I want to stay at home. Hi Sambhavna, I don't really write in the comments section. But I can't help but write this. You shouldn't speak about your maid on public platform. Have you disclosed your personal fights in the family. Amita may or may not be wrong. I am not justifying her but the way you bad mouthing her and talking about how much you paid her and she doesn't have any burden is not justified. It may not be a burden for you to take care of 4 dogs and do household chores but now you yourself are so tired after doing the work which is contradicting your statement. And keeping Amita has been your choice. Keep two maids and don't be dependent on anyone. The fact that you are dependent on her so much itself is so suffocating. You talking about all the jobs where only 1 month leave is given , you should also keep in mind that no job stops the service with the absence of someone although there is instability which I agree and to mitigate that is to do a proper debriefing and Making a firm and right decision. Any house help who is working the way Amita was - taking care of 4 dogs, cooking, cleaning - should get 4 vacations in the year. She also has her family back home. She must miss them, and they also probably miss her.
I think you your partner or your parents might also be working somewhere and you know what are the things I don't think you get four vacation in any job yes you have sick leave yes you do have some casual leaves but I really don't think so you have four vacations when you are working when you are in a job...... When someone is taking care of your children and/or your pets who are more precious than anything else for you, then you go out of your way to keep them happy. You cannot compare that to a regular office job, where hundreds of people are available to do that job. But it is very hard to find a sincere person to take care of your pets or your children. Four vacations (maybe one week every time or even more) is hardly anything for someone who is taking such good care of your pets.
Maids are first of all humans, not robots and they have human feelings and expectations. You should not blame her, but instead should be grateful to her for her services. You should have understood before that she is not happy mainly because you are too insensitive to her genuine problems. You had given her local make floor cleaner, which causes headeache. You both prefer to take foods outside, when you are not bothered about her food. So finaly salary is not the everything, (the amount is not disclosed by you clearly to us,) for a human to consider for being together with you. She had also her own problems of leaving her family, children away just to work for you only for salary, nothing else. So you can not blame her, if she decides to leave you for her own sake.

Hey Sam and Avinash. I have been watching your vlogs for more than 5 years and 2 years ago I moved to Canada for my further studies. It was hardest moment for me but because of your vlogs I could survive and let me tell you, agar aap nhi hote then I would have been in severe depression and you bring joy and happiness and my and everyone's life. I really wish the best for you and Avinash and little fur babies. And for Amita, this was actually wrong of her to not contact you. I have been there in that kind of situation so I know what you're going through. My suggestion would be to start looking for another househelp but also try contacting her again because we never know agar kuch wahan galat hua ho. Rest we all are with you and we all continuously pray for you and your family.

Sambhavna and Avinash, Amita used to do a lot of work. Your house was looked after by her and your dogs were looked after by her. If you think she wasn't doing much then why are you stressed about her leaving??? In The West people don't have the luxury of house help. Mostly both partners work full time, attend to house chores, look after their children including school drop off and pick up and at the same time look after the family pet/pets. If you are worried about your weight, then do some work around the house. You will lose weight faster.
Emergency or whatever be the reason, just call back or drop a msg thats not such a big task.. either from Amitas phn or someone elses. This is common sense that one shud inform their employer watever b the reason, and not take their employer for granted and Amita has been working with them from a very very long time. We all inform our employers in case our leave gets extended or adhoc or abrupt leaves.
I am sure the entire dynamics of their house must have been affected and this is the 2nd time. I think @Sambhavna u shud start looking for other options instead of Amita.

* I have lived for decades outside India, and we have no house help. We do everything ourselves, from cooking, cleaning, taking care of dogs, taking care of children - on top of a demanding full-time job.
* I see any kind of house help as a big privilege and a big bonus. And I am very grateful for that.
* If I feel overworked at work, no matter how much my salary is I will quit. I could also quit for any other reason - family needs me, I feel burned out, I am tired of the same work, I need a new challenge, etc.
* My employer has no control and no hold over me. It is my choice to do what I want with my life.
In India, I have noticed that house help is seen as a birthright. Yes, you treated Amita well (as you should). Everyone deserves to be treated respectfully and with dignity. But Amita is the master of her own life. It is possible that taking care of 4 dogs, cooking, cleaning and various other tasks at home took a toll on her. It is possible that she feels guilty for quitting a "well-paying" job, and good employers like you. Which is why she cannot say no to you, and does not want to take your call. At the end of the day, it is Amita who decides what is right for her.
I have learnt that the best way to deal with such situations is to be thankful for what Amita did for your family and move on and find someone else. It is only Amita who knows what is good or bad for her. No one else can speak for her. And as many others have said, find 2 house helps so that the burden is shared between 2 people.

I completely agree with Sambhavna - how can there be pressure on Amita when she has knowingly taken up a job in this household? We all have all have to honour the tasks, especially the ones we are earning from. Also there is no question of rich and poor - there is no exploitation here. Every case is individual - there is transparency on this vlog channel and I for one have noticed, Amita has complete freedom to say what she wants to do or not do - there are many instances when S ends up doing the work even when Amita is around. By switching her phone off she is being irresponsible to the people who rely on her.

In yesterday's episode only sam was saying Susu aa gaya toh kar diya blanket pe . Have the supporters seen Amita mop the floor she uses her hands and do you also know how much does a mopstick cost ? Compare it with the Gucci bag she buys . Go into dmart you will get a moping stick for 200 . After all the days work where does Amita sleep? We all know the second bedroom is empty . So that means she sleeps on the ground. Has anyone seen a rolled mattress on the ground ? At least she deserves a mattress to sleep after keeping her on toes the full day . Now supporters how much does a mattress cost ? Forget branded at least cotton mattress how much does it cost ?

If you are asking the viewers to say if Amita is right or wrong, we can't say that because we don't know her side of the story. We are seeing and hearing what you tell on the vlog. How different it is from Amita's POV how will we know? First of all she didn’t bad mouth her. She literally is expressing the betrayal she is feeling. amita’s situation may be serious or something else could be the reason. she was with them for such a long time, and its not the first time she has switched off her phone or something. If u all watch the vlogs completely, you see sam only saying that she wants amita to clarify things out and expects nothing more. And please this is literally the bare minimum you can expect from someone who u treated as your own family. Amita
Might be in some situation however in previous vlogs sam clearly mentioned how she picks up everyone else’s calls except theirs. So somewhere down the line it is a bit sketchy and unexpected from amita.

Amita manages ur full household chores plus looking ur 4 bacchas which is a very very very tiring job. She is also human. Aap jab wardrobe ki safai karte ho tab os din meal bahar se mangaaoo kyunki saaf safai full wardrobe n arranging things se thakan ho jaati hai. U always go for trips n she has to look after the home. I do my household chores as it keeps me fit . U will also loose weight if u do household chores. It's the best form of exercise. Gym jane ki jarurat nahi padti . Aap se jitna ho sake ghar ka kaam karo. Body parts move hote rehte hai aur calcium bhi sahi bana rehta hai body mein.

I believe we're only seeing one side of the story where Sambhavna is saying that we don't have much work and that we're paying well. She probably told Amitha the same thing. However, Amitha knows well the amount of effort required to handle this workload. If an employer doesn't value your work and is egotistical enough to suggest they could hire two people instead, we should look beyond what Sambhavna and Avinash are presenting to us. We might not know the full picture, as we're only hearing their perspective.

Hi Sambhavna, I don't really write in the comments section. But I can't help but write this. You shouldn't speak about your maid on public platform. Have you disclosed your personal fights in the family. Amita may or may not be wrong. I am not justifying her but the way you bad mouthing her and talking about how much you paid her and she doesn't have any burden is not justified. It may not be a burden for you to take care of 4 dogs and do household chores but now you yourself are so tired after doing the work which is contradicting your statement. And keeping Amita has been your choice. Keep two maids and don't be dependent on anyone. The fact that you are dependent on her so much itself is so suffocating. You talking about all the jobs where only 1 month leave is given , you should also keep in mind that no job stops the service with the absence of someone although there is instability which I agree and to mitigate that is to do a proper debriefing and Making a firm and right decision. You people don't need to go to the office. You can clean and cook yourself. Avinash has writing work and sambhavna goes to gym drinks coffee and nothing else. If you remain active doing household work and everything you would not need to go to the gym also. Also, you said 4 dogs ko sambhalna mushkil nhi hai. Jo sambhalte hai unhe pata hai. U just buy medicine and take them for walk nothing else so u will not know. Keeping maid at double the salary would have been justified if you were a working woman.

I dont know why everyone is discussing their maid issue. Yeh unka problem hain and they know better how to handle.

Any house help who is working the way Amita was - taking care of 4 dogs, cooking, cleaning - should get 4 vacations in the year. She also has her family back home. She must miss them, and they also probably miss her.
She is getting paid well for what she does. She is not being forced to do.
I think you your partner or your parents might also be working somewhere and you know what are the things I don't think you get four vacation in any job yes you have sick leave yes you do have some casual leaves but I really don't think so you have four vacations when you are working when you are in a job......
Just think twice just don't say for the sake of saying just saying that is it legitimate it that you are saying four vacations in a year then what is sambhavna paying that girl for.
@@gurkaur107 It looks like people in India are pretty heartless and take their househelp for granted. When someone is taking care of your children and/or your pets who are more precious than anything else for you, then you go out of your way to keep them happy. You cannot compare that to a regular office job, where hundreds of people are available to do that job. But it is very hard to find a sincere person to take care of your pets or your children. Four vacations (maybe one week every time or even more) is hardly anything for someone who is taking such good care of your pets.
Maids are first of all humans, not robots and they have human feelings and expectations. You should not blame her, but instead should be grateful to her for her services. You should have understood before that she is not happy mainly because you are too insensitive to her genuine problems. You had given her local make floor cleaner, which causes headeache. You both prefer to take foods outside, when you are not bothered about her food. So finaly salary is not the everything, (the amount is not disclosed by you clearly to us,) for a human to consider for being together with you. She had also her own problems of leaving her family, children away just to work for you only for salary, nothing else. So you can not blame her, if she decides to leave you for her own sake.

Please understand that they prefer outside food, because Amita is not allowed to cook non veg food or good vegetarian food in the house. Sometimes it is allowed only for blogging. Hey Sam and Avinash. I have been watching your vlogs for more than 5 years and 2 years ago I moved to Canada for my further studies. It was hardest moment for me but because of your vlogs I could survive and let me tell you, agar aap nhi hote then I would have been in severe depression and you bring joy and happiness and my and everyone's life. I really wish the best for you and Avinash and little fur babies. And for Amita, this was actually wrong of her to not contact you. I have been there in that kind of situation so I know what you're going through. My suggestion would be to start looking for another househelp but also try contacting her again because we never know agar kuch wahan galat hua ho. Rest we all are with you and we all continuously pray for you and your family.
