Rock Shox Reverb AXS Repair - stuck (motor servo problem)

This Reverb AXS dropper post was stuck. We noticed that at the manufacturer's specified pressure of 250 PSI, the servo motor kept switching back and forth and could not open the valve. When we pushed the dropper down so it was depressed, we measured pressures well above 350 PSI, where even more motor force is needed to push the valve open. This small motor is equipped with a double planetary gearbox, capable of delivering high torque, so it can open the valve at 350 PSI. First, we did a complete rebuild of the dropper post hydraulics, set the IFP, and then added 250 PSI pressure. In service mode, the Reverb worked perfectly, but in the compressed state, when the valve was pressurized even higher, the engine would no longer open. As soon as we released the pressure, the opening worked again. We disassembled the electronic part of the seat tube and found the solution!
Ez a Reverb AXS dropper be volt ragadva. Azt vettük észre, hogy a gyártó által előírt 250 PSI nyomáson a szervómotor folyamatosan ide-oda kapcsolgat és nem tudja nyitni a szelepet. Lenyomott állapotban jóval 350 PSI feletti nyomást mértünk, ahol a szelep megnyomásához még nagyobb motor erőre van szükség. Ez a kis motor egy dupla bolygóműves kihajtással van ellátva, nagy nyomaték leadására képes, tehát 350 PSI nyomáson is tudja nyitni a szelepet. Első körben elvégeztük a dropper teljes hidraulikájának az újraépítését, beállítottuk az IFP-t, majd a gyártói előrás szerint 250 PSI nyomást töltöttünk bele. Szervizmódba kapcsolva tökéletesen járt a nyeregcső, de összenyomott állapotban amikor még magasabb nyomás alá került a szelep, nem tudta már nyitni a motor. Ahogy engedtünk a nyomásból, úgy ismét működött a nyitás. Ezt követően szétbontottuk az elektronikai részét is a nyeregcsőnek és megtaláltuk a megoldást!

Hello there! The motor shaft was rotating freely in the mechanism so we had to repair the hub of the servo motor to be tight again.
