Idk man, Sam Manekshaw always came across to me like a man who could take himself lightly too. He wasn't stoic and menacing all the time, he was known for his humour.

Vicky is an excellent actor and will do a fine portrayal but I too missed the sparkle in Sam Manekshaw's eyes and his witty, humourous side in this trailer. But I'm still hopeful that the movie itself will capture all facets of his personality. Looking forward to this film.

Its good to see that in every other Bollywood movies they try to put some Sikhs bravery shabads because the Bollywood in every other movie shows Sikhs as Jokers and Hindus as very bad people in previous years

sardarji sat shri akaal, bollywood used to make shitty movies in the past in general and used to denigrate every other community, but from past 7-8 years the quality of bollywood movies have improved quite a bit, so we now see characters with lot more depth than earlier times.

I don't know how someone can watch something related to someone and still haven't searched or looked for him. How does one know if an actor did justice or not with the role if we don't know the person. Specially if you have only a cinema related channel.

Slightly disappointed with trailer.first of all Sam manekshaw was a fair guy second such films require some and experienced actor like gary Oldman in darkest hour or Colin firth in kings speech who knows intricacies of acting much better.vicky personality and voice does not match charisma of Sam manekshaw.indira Gandhi poor casting.she looks nothing like Indira gandhi.third too much melodramatic dialogue killed the excitement felt cheesy at time
This is a director’s medium and she decides on the path she wants to take and how she wants to portray the characters. Capturing the souls is more important than trying to imitate their every move or to try and exactly look like them!!
