So what's the industry accepted level of patching for 2017 and beyond versions where we just have CUs and not SPs ? Do we need to patch every quarter with N-1 or N ?
Cloud is not a solution. It just means you're stuck with the new bugs as the continually add them... And you can't stick with working versions. True it not your job to fix it anymore, now it's you job to cope with the bugs helplessly.
Brent - are you only a theory guy - just talk? We are not high school students. We know most of the things you are bragging about. Please show us engineering hands how - how you do things on. That's it. You may not have hands-on experience or knowledge. Get out of here. Don't waste your time.

I think its better to change the version than doing this risky patches.... right?
